Dear Sir/Madam,

I have lost my birth certificate and I need it for official purposes. I was born on 20 November 1949 in Wadia Hospital in Parel, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. I am living in United states since 1974 and a US citizen since 1992. I have also lost my original Indian passport and school leaving certificate.

Please advise me how to or where I will be able to get copy of the birth certificate and what other documents I will need to get it.

I am 1972 born in parel Mumbai - Desai Hospital. I enquired in BMC office regarding my BMC birth certificate. After 2 rounds in office. The BMC official says birth certificate is not registered. Please can you guide the steps to get it.

Has anyone received help through posting on here? I am in the USA, but need to get a copy of my father's birth certificate, born in Wadia Hospital in 1942.

I was born in Mumbai on the 21st May 1960 and studied in Mumbai till 1976. I was living at old Custom House at Khattau Bldg, Apollo Street, Fort Mumbai 1. I need the birth certificate. I was born in Ghatkopar on October second in 1954. I assume birth was at home as there was not hospital till 1958. I have a school leaving certificate and a us passport. I have relative who contacted N ward officials and being told that " No record of birth registration." when I was in Mumbai back in 1982 the same office issued me a birth certificate within a week like I had been registered.
