[Resolved] Naaptol.com — Order cancellation without notification | |
Hi, I ordered a Nikon Digital SLR camera on the Naaptol.com website on 23rd Feb 2013 as a gift to someone. The payment of Rs.32022 (including delivery charges) was made using a credit card. They mentioned that it will take 7-10 working days for delivery. The payment was made & credited to their account in next 3-4 days. All of sudden, today I got an information that the order is cancelled and the amount will be refunded back to my credit card account. My issues are - 1. Why didn't Naaptol check its item stock availability or inventory before posting it on it's site? 2. Why did it take them 11 working days to figure out that they did not have the item with them? 3. In this process, I lost the opportunity of purchasing the similar camera from another vendor's shop. Now the prices have increased to Rs. 42000 for this item. Who is going to compensate this loss. If I would have known that the stock is not available in couple of days time from Naaptol, I would have purchased this from another vendor from his shop. I would like naaptol to either provide me the item as originally described of a good quality or reimburse the loss I have encountered. Was this information helpful? | |
