[Resolved]  Naaptol — Naaptol order no 2157401 (VOX VP4 MOBILE PHONE)

Hello Team,

This is to inform you that i ordered a phone call VOX V on VP4 on 30/7/11 and received the product on 6/8/11 after the courier missing me for 4 consecutive days

leaving a missing note at my place every time i wasn't here.

The day i received the phone problem started,I got a damaged headset with the phone,I immediately call the customer service team and informed them about the same.

They told me they will replace the headset in 7 working days which is absolutely pathetic,then my problem got more worse when the phone did not switch on.

I called the customer service team and informed then about the same they told me its a battery problem,i tired my other battery phone in VP4 and the phone was switched

on and was working properly,then i asked them to replace the battery,they sd they will do it in 7 working days, which is agan patheic as its a brand new phone.

Then the problem became more worse when i called the customer service team and then they told me that they cant do it as the phone is out of stock and the accessories

are also out of stock.

I spoke to many customer service representatives and they kept on disconnecting my call until i finally got a good man called (SAGAR) didn't tel me his full name. he

was very polite and helped me a lot he asked me about my problem and explain to me how it works,i told him i was irate and want a replacement however he said as per

the company policy he cant give a replacement as the problem is with the accessories and not with the phone,however he did mentioned that if i would have called and

told any CSR that if the problem is with the phone then i would have got a replacement.

I then asked to speak to his manager (HARSHAD) who was also quite polite and helpful,he told me that he can offer me a refund of 400 rs for the battery and

headset,dont know the market price however he said that i would be able to get it for that price in the market.

Although i didn't want it i reluctantly agreed for the same as i don't have any option.

I went to a retail mobile store and purchased a battery for the phone,it was for (450rs) i was ok with the price,but the problem became more worse for me when i

started using the phone i realized that there were so many defects on the phone.

PROBLEM'S WITH THE PHONE.

1) The touch screen didn't work properly i had to make several attempts to get the screen move.

2) The camera hangs in between,also the clarity of the phone is absolutely pathetic.

3) The major problem with the phone is after speaking for 2-3 minutes the phone gets heat up so fast that it hurts my ear and its so hot like a boiling water that you

cant speak on the phone,you have to put it away from your ears 2-3 meters and then speak to the other person.

Now instead of resolving my problem,it has become more worse, when i called the customer service department of (Naaptol).

I spoke to many CSR and they were absolutely rude and sarcastic one the representative telling me that if you want to send the phone send it otherwise keep it with you

we can't do anything for you, i don't remember the name of that representative but he was speaking in south Indian accent.

Anyways i informed them the problem and they told me that they will repair the phone in 15 working days,I said that i don't want to repair the phone and as the phone

is under warranty i need a replacement, However they insisted that they will not give a replacement and can only repair the phone.

Repairing the phone and that to in 15 working days (Sat and Sun excluded) doesn't make any sense to me,as i will be without any phone for 15 days. Also they dont have

a service center any where in Mumbai where i can go and repair the phone.

I am really not flexible with repairing the phone as im within the warranty period and eligible to get an exchange. I would like top know if some one can help me in getting an exchange as this is becoming very inconvinet for me to call the customer service department everytime and spend my valuable time there speaking with them for hours.

I am ready to send my phone back along with the box and original battery and damaged headset that it came in
