[Resolved] Neel metal fanalca — garbage cleaning | |||
My name is Abilash I run a bombay dyeing showroom at thiruvaluvar salai thiruvanmiyur chennai ,neel metal fanalca is the worst of the companies that have taken up chennai city's garbage disposal. They must have definetly bit low to get the contract because the are completely useless and don't even care about doing what they were contracted to do " keeping the city clean". My showroom is at the corner of thiruvaluvar salai and 5th east street facing the main road, they do not clean at all, the neel metal fanalca employees come here sit for a couple of hours and then leave. today 23/10/11 a few of them were cleaning thiruvaluvar salai road some vip "must becoming" or they wouldnt have been out there, after cleaning a bit on the main road they come and dump all that garbage at the side of my showroom. Who do we have to complain to to get this useless company to do the work they were contracted for if they cant then they need quit and let companies like onyx from singapore who did a much better job though they charged higher. Our government needs to understand that cheaper doesnt mean better, it costs to keep a city clean. You want to be considered a big player on the world stage then the first thing you need to do is provide the right infrastructure. So my suggestion to the government is cancel neel metal fanalca's contract and get someone who can get the job done right , you are collecting taxes from us please make proper use of these taxes that u charge the common man. I am a resident of Elango Street, Dhandeeswaram Nagar Extn, Velachery Chennai 600 042. The NMF person posted to this area never turns up at our street. No Trash bin has been placed in this street. We have to cross 3 streets and go to reach the nearest bin. Several complaints have been made to the supervisor incharge who is Mr.Nagaraj and whose phone no is [protected], who seldom takes the complaint seriously. The street is filled with garbage most of the time. There are many children in this street, and the garbage collected poses a great threat of health hazards. The garbage is cleared almost once and only once in a month. Requesting the concerned authorities to interfere and do the needful immediately.

The service of NEEL METAL FANALCA is very poor.The sweeper and the lorry service people are not bothered even after request.This is complain made from RAMAGIRI, IST STREET, VELACHERY, CHENNAI -600042. The Sweeper of this area is very bad in nature and never listen any request.I think that he aspect something everyday and supervisor also never visiting even after complain.

Regarding: we are the citizen of ward 49 in zone 3 of chennai corporation .
This is a commercial cum residential area .
There are many schools and religious institution in this area.
The amount of garbage generated in this area is very high compared to other wards
This area is cleaned by NEEL METAL FANALCA as per the corporation tender contract.
Sir we would like to bring your kind notice the inefficiencies of NELL METAL as
follows;
1.The garbage is not been cleared daily.
2.Many street like south mint street ,EK Agraharam , Kesava Iyear street ,
Ponnappa chetty street, Amman koil street , Rassappa chetty street ,
Vengu chetty street, Raghunayakulu street etc are facing the hardship due to
the non clearance of the garbage
3.The sweeper dont arrives at the above mentioned street.
So i would like you to bring the above changes to make environment clean.
Thanking you,and awaiting for necessary actions to be taken on the highlighted
points mentioned above.

As a concerned citizen like you, what I understand is Neel Metal Fanalca's contract has been cancelled by Govt., but this guys went to the court, I believe according to the order the govt must abide by their contract till Dec. 2011. Govt. have also opened new tenders, We all know now why this pathetic svc and behaviors of the company and their employees, it was one of the biggest mistakes of the previous govt. to give contract to this company, Onx was doing a wonderful job earlier, We citizens of Chennai have to live garbage till this year end
