[Resolved] Nokia 2630 — New Handset Malfunctioning | |
Hi all, I am just bringing this following information to all of you and would request all of you to please pass it on to as many people as possible. I bought a nokia handset on 1st of jan08 and it got problem on 4th which is so far not ractified and this nokia customer is all set to convince me that they will deliver it back to me on 26th jan. is this the reason we buy nokia handset? Below text i found from International consumer right protection forum which proves that how many people have started suffering from this NOKIA. Nokia is selling some of its degraded products that have software problems. If you come across such problem in a new set, do not waste your time in running around service centres as it is not going to help much, ask for a replacement with a new set. We have received many complaints about defects in new phones. Its clear evidence that NOKIA is dumping defective hands in this country. Their service centres are over crowded by complainants and you will have to wait for hours. Most of their service centers are unable to repair the handsets. IF YOU WANT PEACE OF MIND...NEVER BUY NOKIA HANDSET. Was this information helpful? | |

I completely agree, i too have same issue, the Nokia 2630 started to automatically switch on and 0ff at its will even when the batter power is charged fully.
This happened ont he 3rd week after the purchase was made.
My god, what a cheat NOKIA is becoming.
And the Nokia Care centre is horrible in their customer support.
Cheaters nokia stop selling scrap products.
when i went to complain to nokia centre, 3 more customers are with the same handsets with different problems.
Hope some legal action is taken against the cheaters.

I just bought 11 of these handsets on behalf of my company and in less than 3 months 5 of them are already hanging. I sent 2 of the handsets to the Nokia Service Center and they were returned to me after 3 weeks, apparently "fixed". Within 2 days the handsets started giving the same problem again.
Nokia Customer Care is useless. Someone needs to teach them English. They just refuse to address your concerns, and simply go on and on with their standard responses. If there's any way that we can take action against the company please let me know as I am sick and tired of their non-professionalism. It's simply a waste of time and resources trying to reason with them.

I have bought this 2630 in Jan and in May I get the same problem of switching off every 10 secs and does not allow anything. I have lost a chunk of information about my contacts. Nokia does not have the service centers near by in the area where I live.
I'm really frustated by this and not sure what needs what my next steps are
