Sir,

I had purchased Nokia Mobile of make 3110 classic from the authorized dealer M/s Total Recall, 18th June Road, Panaji, on payment of Rs.6, 900/- through my personal savings, so that I can get good quality mobile worthwhile to expenditure incurred with additional features like Camera, Video, Radio, Music player with extended memory etc. Basically the said mobile was purchased, so that I can enjoy my leisure time during long journey everyday. During first six months there was no problem to the set purchased, however on passage of time it created problems such as Camera on standby mode, hanging problems etc. These problems initially were taken care off by the authorized Nokia Care Centre at Ponda under warranty period and later on one occasion at M/s Comlink Synergies Pvt. Ltd., 3, Gomes Building, Opposite Hotel Delmon, Panaji Goa, Authorised Nokia care centre by payment of Rs.160/- plus Sales Tax as applicable .

About 15 days later subsequent upon the mobile shown to above service centre, it developed further problems and said model remained unlocked. Due to this problem I had produced the said mobile at the Authorized Nokia care centre as stated above. They opened the mobile before me and said that Joystick of the mobile is not working and hence the set will be repaired at their own level as the warranty period is expired. They further informed that an amount of Rs.380 plus Sales Tax as applicable will be charged on repairs and issued service sheet bearing No.[protected]/080929/28 dated 29/Sep/2008. Thereafter I had visited 2 to 3 times at the said Nokia care center but the mobile was not repaired by them. On 3rd October 2008, at 5.40 p.m. the office bearers of the Service centre gave me a call and informed that it is not possible to repair the said mobile as there is Short Circuit. On the same day I visited the Service Centre to collect my handset and requested them to give me the detail report on the defects occurred to the hand set. In this context the Office bearers informed me to come on the next day to collect the mobile and the report as the Manager was not available in the office on that day. Next day I went and spent nearly 45 minutes for Handset and the report and after reminding 2 to 3 times, the Manager came down and gave me the report. She took my signatures on the report before I read the contents on the same and returned the handset. I was surprised on reading the report wherein it had stated that the mobile was not repaired due to liquid damaged. The reason stated in the report is very silly as neither the office bearer/Technician nor myself had detected the liquid when the set was given for repairs at the initial stage, these facts were not mentioned on the service card sheet and only informed me that Joystick is not working. Secondly while giving telephonic message and before asking for report they had informed me that the said mobile can’t be repaired due to short circuit. Thirdly, there is no possibility of entering the liquid in the set as I had taken necessary precaution by covering the set in plastic as well as leather covers.

I was further surprised when I was switching on my mobile set it is observed that the set was not getting on. I was disappointed with this newly occurred additional problem as earlier problem was unsolved . Thus the very purpose of repairing the Handset at your Authorized Service Center was defeated despite of my personal efforts thereby causing monitory loss to the extent of Rs.7000/- and above.

Therefore, it is earnest request at your good self to look into the matter and repair the set at your level or otherwise replace it with alternate set. This request was made because set was damaged immediately after warranty period and your authorized Nokia care center is unable to repair the set.

In view of the above my intention is to get Mobile set repaired or otherwise replace because every company either electronic, mechanical etc. is having strong after sales service network in order to provide service to the defective instruments beyond its warranty period.

If my grievances remain unsolved, it will constrain me to take an appropriate action for redresal of my grievances and also to spread awareness campaign against the company amongst the General Public.

Nokia Handset 3110 Classic — handset Functionality failure

Hi,
I have purchased Nokia handset (Model -3110 Classic) at 28 May 2007.
Within the Warranty period I have faced to many problems as Auto restart, automatically switch off, Sim card failure, No range & disconnect while calling, same sim card & memory card was working properly in another handsets while it was showing failure in my handset.
Within this warranty year (till one month to go to complete warranty) I send my handset four times to Nokia Customer care. Now after warranty period company will obviously charge me for the same failure. So what shall I do?
This is to your notice that I have been used customer service for 4 times within the purchasing.
As it was under Warranty Company has repaired handset free. But what’s next?
Isn’t it the failure product? What is the reliability of Product?

We customer believes the quality & service of the Nokia, But what I can say now when the new product has to be sent for repairing 4 times within the year.
Will you please clarify?

Dear Team,

Subject: Problems faced after buying a Nokia handset.Model No-5610d-1

I bought a Nokia Handset model number- 5601d-1 and IMEI number- [protected] on 21/04/2008 .
Since that very day I am facing the problem of low audibility. I tried to get the same repaired at one of the authorized centers for Nokia but to no success.
Nokia care job no[protected]/080526/1 dated 26 may 2008.
The problem still persists. Even when the mode is changed to loud speaker, incoming voice is faint.
I have checked other sets of the same series and make. There was no audibility issue with them.
Request you to provide a resolution for the same ASAP.

Looking forward for an early revert on the same,

1) Low audibility
2) No option to stop the audio or video only pause and come out from there
3) Ringing volume also not satisfactory
4) Not satisfactory behavior from The Mobile Store & Nokia Care also. According to them, this is a manufacturing problem.
5) Since my handset is in guarantee period, hence request you to get the problem resolved either by repairing the handset or replacement of the same.

Nokia 3110 Classic — regarding all features of mobiles

i had bought my mobile nokia 3110c on 28th oct 2008 .my set nokia 3110 c ihas started giving me problems from end of 3rd mth ..Problems like calculate disappearing, auto switch off on, camera pictures faults, nokia games fault, and like ths many more problems... I had taken my set to nokia care centre, sector 22, chandigarh altleast 5 times.. After then they had given my set to the higher authorities BUT i got my set in last week of april i.e. after 20-25 days, still i am facing all such problems after a week of receiving it... So in this regard plz change my set or i be forced to move to the consumer court in tne regard of customer harrassment...

I am a user of nokia 3110 classic, I have only one problem of the virus attack while using internet. There is no solution of this problem. I have also reqested to local nokia care, Kankarbagh, patna to solve this problem providing me a competent antyvirus to install on my PC to scan my nokia device. THUS NOKIA COMPANY SHOULD MANAGE FOR ONLINE VIRUS REMOVEL T00L. If the the tool exists, please guide me. How many time my device will be formated due to virus?
I agree...I bought mine last year in December and started experiencing the same around July of this year.

When I try to access tones or files from either the phone memory or the card, it tells me the file is corrupted and it power off.

I then usually have to charge it until it stops blinking and finally comes on :-(

Does anyone know how I can solve this? Or who had the same experience?
i used 3110c my cell phone hanging problem and when i open inbox for message i deleted all mgs but it's still hanging and when i play song it's also create that problem i already format my memory card please help mee

1. That the complainant purchased a mobile handset made NOKIA, Model 6265 CDMA bearing ESN No. [protected] for a sum of Rs. 15500.00 from me vide bill no. 1153 dated 23.11.2006 under one year manufacturer’s guarantee.

2. That the son of the complainant made a complaint to me regarding the defect in the handset. I advised him to contact OP No. 2 or 3 as OP No. 2 is appointed as NOKIA CARE at sirsa and is authorized to entertain the after sales complaint regarding the handsets sold by the dealers.

3. That after few days the son of the complainant again approached me and told me that OP No. 2 has refused to entertain the complaint regarding the defective handset.

4. That I thereafter suggested him to approach OP No. 3 who is importer of nokia mobile handsets in INDIA.

5. That I am not aware regarding the progress of after sales service provided by OP No. 2 and 3, it is corrected that the handset was sold to the complainant under company’s guarantee, if any service or replacement of the handset was required only OP No. 2 and 3 is liable to give after sales service or replacemt of the handset.
6. That the deponent is not indulged in unfair trade practice or deficient in service towards the complainant thus the deponent is not liable for any claims & compensations, if there is any deficiency provided after sales service only OP’s No. 2 to 4 are liable to pay claims and compensations to the complainant.

nokia mobile model 3110 classic — after six months handset still in service centre

my freind named vakil yadav bought a mobile of nokia 3110 classic from nikhil mobile point jaduguda . It's power switch failed to work on 26/06/09 . Being a cisf he did't got time to submit the handset to nokia care he gave me the same to submit to nokia care. I deposited the handset on 30/06/09 till now the set is still under repairing .i have contected nokia care many times but never got setisfectory answer from any nokia care personnel. should i go to consumer court ?

Nokia Mobile — failure to repair my mobile within guarantee period

I have a Nokia 7310 handset, bought on 7th of February, 2009. It started showing keypad problems from the early months of July. Then from the month of December my handset had numerous trips to the Nokia Care, but they were not really able to repair my mobile well. It was having the same problem at an interval of 2 days after getting repaired. But still my keypad problem exists.
In view of above, I request you to take note of my online complain and look into the following:
1) My guarantee period is valid till 6th of February 2010, therefore, I have the right to get it repaired without any cost within a period of 1 year from date of purchase.
That condition is being violated by the Company.
2) If they fail to repair my handset , the same should be replaced by a handset of equal value.
