[Resolved]  Nokia - 3110 Classic — Selling repairing product

This is to inform you that me Sumanta Bhattacharyya bought Nokia 3110 classic on 19-Apr-2008 from our locality
(Naihati, near Kolkata, India) on 19-Apr-08

I have one 2GB transand microSD card with this phone.
Since last 2 days I am getting a problem that my phone is getting restarting frequently. Recently it is not starting.

I went to nokia care on 20-Oct-08, address kolkata saltlake, sector-v, Iternity building to report this issue. They checked my phone and told to update the software regarding this restarting issue. While checking they told one of the chip in the circuit board has been repaired from outside so they have identified my mobile as tampered and so the warranty has been cancelled, which is impossible because I bought it by opening the seal and this is the first time I went to nokia priority care. And why will I repair it from outside within warrenty period? I have not get any solutions from them as they were asking for charge to update the software and I am not ready to pay as my phone is under warranty period. Till now my mobile is not working.

I am really surprised for this behavior. And hopefully I expect a fruitful result because till now I have belief on nokia. I don’t know whether nokia will keep it or not.

And also I am also very unhappy to the shop P S TRADING from where I had bought the mobile for selling this repairing product.

Please help me…

NOKIA-3110 Classic — Mobile not repaired with in 3 month in warranty period

Dear Sir/Madam
I have purchased a Nokia handset Nokia 3110 Imei:[protected] From bhavnagar on 29th Feb 2008.Suddenly I faced the blank screen problem with my handset .So I submitted the same to Bhavnagar Nokia Care center on 01st july 2008 with Jobsheet No.[protected]/080701/28 and received back on 21st July evening and after 2 hours i have got same problem in my mobile and i again submitted my mobile at same service center on 22 nd july 2008 with job sheet no:[protected]/080722/64. Till today (11 th sept)i haven't received the my mobile.
Every time when I talk to Nokia Care they donot reply satisfactorily .
Now Suggest what to do??????????????

Nokia — delivery not in time

i have given my nokia 2630 phone for repair it is in warranty the problem is the loudspeakar of handset is damage they are telling me it is not avaliable if there is shortage why they are selling the product in market & if they are selling they must give good services my phone is under kustub telecom nokia care dhobi ghat pune 1 jobsheet no:[protected]/080911/14 dt 11.09.2008.
Well, after reading this - i'll be very cautious about buying any nokia product.

I personally feel, Nokia should investigate this issue and take a strong action against those criminals who actually done this. Otherwise, definitely - they will continue to loose their preferred customer in this way.

Nokia has a brand name and a very good reputation so they need to resolve this type of problem as soon as possible otherwise in this way they loss their reputation.
I heard so many such types of cases; it is not expected from these Brands.
This is really bad and unfortunate news for the Nokia users. I believe that any authorized Nokia dealers never do this type of duplicity but unfortunately it’s done here. So this dishonest dealer should be punished. Another thing is that we have to check the authenticity of the Box Pack that’s previously it was has been opened or not. We have to be very conscious after this horrible experience.

This is really bad and unfortunate news for the Nokia users.Nokia has a brand name and a very good reputation so they need to resolve this type of problem as soon as possible otherwise in this way they loss their reputation.
This is a shocking incident . It is impossible for the customer to check each and every chip and parts during buying any product & nobody will do this because of the brand NOKIA. I think everyone should know about this shocking experience, it will help other to avoid this unfortunate incident. I suggest you to post this on some public network like any Blog or Orkut.

NOKIA-3110 Classic — MENTALLY & PHYSICALLY HARRASMENT REGARDING THE WARRANTY COVERAGE

I HAD PURCHASED NOKIA-3110 CLASSIC ON 22'OCT'2008 FROM SHOP(CELL WLL) HAVING IMEI NO.:[protected].NOW AFTER HAVING THE NOKIACUSTOMER CARE, I DID RATHER SAY THAT I MADE A BLASTER MISTAKE BY PURCHASING NOKIA PRODUCT, AS AFTER PURCHASING, THE PHONE GOT DEAD WITHIN A WEEK, AND I APPROCHED THE NOKIA CUSTOMER CARE, SEC-14 FOR THE RECTIFICATION OF PROBLEM, THEY CHECKED THE PHONE AND TOLD THAT PHONE NEED'S TO BE SEND TO THEIR HEAD OFFICE FOR REPAIRING PURPOSEAND HELD MY PHONE FOR COMPLETE 1 WEEK AND TOLD THAT THE PHONE IS BEING TAMPERED & DOESN'T COME UNDER WARRANTY AS COMPANY RULES.I JUST WANT TO KNOW ONLY THAT IF I HAD SHOWN MY PHONE AT CUSTOMER CARE GGN THEN HOW COULD IT BE TAMPERED BY ANY ONE ELSE.PLEASE RESOLVE THE MATTER T EARLIEST OR I HAVE TO COMPLAIN AGAINST NOKIA WITH CONSUMER FORUM REGARDING THE ABOVE

I too had similar experience. My nokia3110c developed auto restart reboot on 10th month of its purchase . it was rectified with a new problem by authorised service i.e set is becomming unusually hot and battery is discharging in no time. i resubmitted for repair 3 more time in two months. now i have initiated legal precess against vendor in guntur, Andhrapradesh.(phone: [protected])

Nokia 3110 Classic — not delivered mobile on time

I bought a nokia 3110 classic in the month of april 2009., suddenly its unable to read the memory card., then i complaint about this trouble in roop rang telecom Patna on 09th june 2009 and they said we will solve this problem in 10 days and after 14 days they said it will take time aroud 10 days more n i have reservation on 25th of june for Pune.
I am really facing very big problem and decided to take action but i think to mail a complain to you all and its my humble request to take a proper action against my promblem cause i checked the status over internet its repaired on 19th june but not despatch from Delhi and the manager and employee of Roop Rang Telecome said i cant do anything its your problem do what ever you want.

I have a Nokia 3110c mobile, IMEI Number is [protected].First time I have visited Nokia customer care may be before 2mounths.Again I visited Nokia customer center for four times within 15 days.Every time I visited the BURDWAN center named Mobile Unique located at Parbirhata: GT Road Burdwan 3
They are providing me service. But again some other problem arising. And they are taking
too time for service, like 4 or 5 hours. And the executives are too leasy.So they weast time
of the people. They do not indicate the repeat job. Once I asked for the job sheet, and I was informed that I can not take any sheet if the serviceing is within one mounth.

I totally agree with you Sumanta Bhattacharyya. The SECTOR V Nokia Priority Dealer is a CHEAT.

I bought Nokia E6-00 device on 9-Aug-11 from Nokia Priority Dealer, Salt Lake, Sector V. Just after One Month, its FLash light started erratic behaviour and Battery started draining out.

Due to festive season and personal problems I was not able to contact the service centre in kolkata.

On 18 OCT 2011, I went to address my query to the NOKIA service centre.By then the transreceiver was also not working. But other features were working ok and I could receive calls if i kept the loud speaker on. The technicians kept the device with them, and told me to come the next day.

But at night (around 8 pm) they called me up and reported they will not repair it and before telling any reason they disconnected the line (I tried to call them back but the line status remained busy).

Next day, when I came to collect my Mobile, they gave me my mobile totally dismantled with Circuit burns all over the device.They alleged me they were due to water logging into the device and had made my device non-warranted. Moreover, they did not have the spare parts to even replace the defective pieces. When requested, they rearranged the phone so that it can be taken in one piece.

Even the owner of the Priority Dealer Outlet supported the technician and they evn generated a customized bill when i asked for a receipt of the service.( My original service BILL was taken from me which had the defects written). Now my mobile has stopped functioning what it was doing before the service.

Please stop this day light fraud.
