Nokia C3 - 01 — Faulty nokia mobile

I bought a Nokia mobile handset C3-01 from Chroma outlet at South extension, New Delhi on,16.10.2011 for Rs.8399/-. The IMEI no of the set is [protected].
The set started giving me trouble from day one. The battery started getting discharged to the extent that it requires charging 2-3 times a day.Further,the network drops after every call made or received for 30 secs to a minute.Thinking that it might be happening due to service provider,I checked it with sim of different service providers but the result remained the same.
I took the set first to Croma. They showed thier inability in this matter and directed me to Nokia care or a Priority outlet. I approached the The Nokia Care outlet at Kotla Mubarakpur, New Delhi, for redressal of my problem with te set. They took the battery and returned the same to me after about 2 hours saying that the needful had been done. However, the problem persisted. When i went to them gain, they took the battery and returned it to me after 2 weeks.
Both times, nothing was done with the mobile set. The problem still remains. On bieng approached again, the Care centre asked me to deposit the mobile set with them and tat tey would pay Rs 2000/- for the same. When they were remined that the mobile set was under warranty period of 1 year and hence, either the set should be fixed or replaced, they refused to do so and instead advised me to go to Priority centre.

Accordingly, I approached the Priority centre in Lajpat nagar, today (5.3.2012) which told me they were a retail outlet and that I should go to a Care outlet. They also advised me to sell the phone for Rs. 2000/-. I am at a loss to understand where I need to go for redressal. As per rule, as the phone is still in warranty period, my set should be replaced or a credit voucher for Rs 8339 should be issued to me, so that I can buy a new set.

I had not expected such handling of a complaint by Nokia. I strongly resent the running around they have made me do so far and expect a quick redressal. I have also come to know that nokia C3-01 has been withdrawn from the market probably due to such complaints.

We are shocked to bring to your NOTICE that we have recently purchased the above-noted set on 8th June,2011 which is infested with certain technical problems. The phone switches off randomally.The Memory Card datas are vanishing automatically. Then after removing and reputting it, the datas come back. The phone also hangs. Since we have purchased the phone at a very dear price, we expect full value for our money and ask you to replace the set at the earliest. Also ensure that such problems do not creep up in future and that our faith in Nokia remains undaunted.

Nokia/ Mobile C3 01 — Problem with new Nokia phone

In Mach 2011, I purchased new Nokia C3 01 handset from Nokia Prioriy Dealer.

Right from Day 1 set is having problem and got hanged every now or then. I visited Nokia care centre three times for same problem.

1) First time they reloaded the phone software.
2) Again I went for same problem, they changed the phone screen.
3) third time I went for same problem, then reloaded the software again and told me thats all they can do.

Since then I have stopped visting them as keeping my phone with for weeks without any result does not make any sense. Not having any idea what should I do?
I purchasd Nokia 701 phone 9/12/2011 from Nokia Priority dealer, jamshedpur that phone price is 17799 rs but 1 month after there is some software problem .my bill no is 11566
I gave my Nokia701 Handset for a repair at the Nokia Customer Care for reparing purpose nokia care job sheet no is[protected]/120214/26.but 1 week after that mobile returned me coustemer care member told me that your mobile is ok, but my mobile software is not working properly that time also then a other problem is created my mass memory of that mobile was not showing my mass memory is 8GB .then i further dave him for solving that problem he told me that mobile motherboard is lossed i will repair it.
but my problem is that i dont want to take repair mobile plese give me new mobile set because my set was new and also in warrenty period so plese give me a new set
plese solve my problem as soon as possible.

Hello again

After your quick response here, the follow up has been pathetic. I did do as guided above. Someone called me up from Nokia care and requested me to come to them again.I have no time to make the rounds of Nokia care. Are you planning to offer a concrete solution at all?
