[Resolved]  Nokia — URJENT!! N79 Faulty (Manufacturing defect)

Dear Sir/Mam

Firstly i must inform you that i have been a user of N73 ME from 3 years which is a fabulous phone and is working properly even today.Getting impressed by the Functioning of N series phones,I bought another N series phone that is N79 on 30/09/09 from a Hotspot dealer at Sector-4,Vaishali,Ghaziabad.
Details of which are given below.

This phone later developed a screen problem in which the screen remained black and everything else worked fine. My phone is in warranty. So with hope of repair,I took my phone to Nokia Care,Sector-4,Vaishali. The people at Nokia care dismantled the phone.

To my surprise instead of repairing my phone the representative told me that "You will have to pay to get my phone repaired as the damage is caused due to moisture".I had seen the dismantled phone myself and found their was nothing as such.This is a simple excuse of denying warranty to the customer and cheating them.

I know my phone better than anyone does.I know that it has never been dropped nor their has been a water spill.I know the Nokia care guy is lying.He is simply trying to blame the customer for what he has not done and trying to earn money. Instead of this he should be accepting the manufacturing defect and should be repairing the phone.Is this how Nokia treats its Loyal Premium customers? And after doing this does Nokia expect me to buy a Nokia phone ever in future.

Moreover before Visiting Nokia Care my phone was functioning properly,only the screen was dead.But after Nokia Care dismantled my phone, Many keys are jammed and the phone is not responding to commands.The Care has worsened the condition of my phone.

The job sheet number is[protected]/100219/12 Now what shall i do? I want justice.This is what i got by wasting Rs 14000.

To clarify it as a Manufacturing defect I would like to give some more details about the problem.

1 WEEK BEFORE THE DISPLAY WENT DEAD, THE SCREEN SHOWED SOME PROBLEMS.SOMETIMES WHILE TYPING SMS WHENEVER I PRESSED "THE ERASE KEY". THE SCREEN WOULD START FLICKERING AND FLICKERING WOULD STOP WHEN I PRESSED THE "RED CALL KEY".

THE DAY ON WHICH THE SCREEN DIED,THE PHONE WAS O.K IN MORNING BUT WHEN I SAW IT IN EVENING THE SCREEN WAS DEAD.

THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN NOTICED IN MANY NOKIA PHONES LIKE N79,E72,NOKIA 6300,NOKIA 7205 etc. JUST GOOGLE THIS PROBLEM AND SEE. So what Nokia has to say now? I know Nokia is well aware of this problem in many of its devices including N79. I want a repair or REPLACEMENT OR REFUND MY MONEY WHICH I SPENT ON THIS USELESS THING.

Immediate action is awaited from Nokia side. Please take necessary steps and get my phone repaired,replaced or refund my money.

i am also a user of n 79 nokia mobile iam also facing the same things regularly when i visit nokia care pattam trivandrum.they just replace some things and for some days it will be ok.then again same problems developed.i agree with you
