[Resolved]  Nokia E 72 — Keypad not replaced in warranty

I had purchased E 72 of Nokia 6 months back . One key on the key pad is out and the key pad needs replacement. Company says not covered in warranty. Ok if not covered atleast only keypad should be made avialble. The care centre people say you have to purchase complete body for Rs 3200/-. Even if I opt for buying the body they say you will have to take whatever colour comes from company.

nokia e 72 — problem with the battery getting hot while receiving mail

phone battery is geating hot while reciving mail ,and when i went to the nokia phone shop they did not help and did laying while saling the phone by prommising things like help you with any problem if you bye the phone from my shope insted of bying from nokia prietor .shope add is f-58 city walk saket ,new delhi ,And the name of the person is reya (shope) Tin no is [protected]

Nokia E 72 — malfunctioning of cell phone

Dear Nokia,
I have purchased a new Nokia E-72 ([protected]
)handset from one of your Authorised dealer, M/s Indira Enterprises Sector 22-B Chandigarh on 24/5/10, The phone started giving me the problems of No connectivity and call droping which got me frustrated and i had to give my new Phone purchased out of my hard earned money to your Nokia care for checkups. I showed the phone at your nokia care in laxmi nagar delhi, who did something and returned the phone back to me with the assurance that it would work allright henceforth, but to my dismay the phone kept giving me the problems as earlier. I had no alternative other than to show the phone again to Nokia care and have deposited the phone with nokia care , N.R.I communications Lajpat nager wide service job sheet no. 10083 dated 25/05/2010 at about 13.28. I was told that i would be called to inform abou the status in the evening but i got no call and i called them personally on 29/05/10 to know that the phone will take another 2 to 3 days to be repaired. But in the morning today i,e 31.5.10 i was called by some lady and was informed that they could not rectify the problem there hence the phone would be send to Nokia service centre to be repraired and would take another 5 to 6 days.
I have spend Rs. 18451 to purchase a phone who is one of the top models in its catageroy in india and i got the worst ever phone Nokia may have ever Produced plus i got the most disconcerned customer care executives who are only concerned to communicate the policies to the agitated customer and they have no solution to offer. The are kept there in increase the temper of the customer rather than to be solution manager. To write this message to Nokia i had to work so hard to get this site, i could not get the support of getting a website address from them forget about the cell no's of the sebior persons.
What i want now is a total replacement of my phone which is lying with the lajpat nager Nokia care, i would not accept a repaired phone no. If i can be given this i will take it otherwise please inform me asap so that i may think of the other remedies available to me through law.

E72 seems to have a major problem, some of the problems i too am facing is :

call dropping
phone hanging up
when called many times the phone shows the ring to be going but never connects
callers complaining that the phone gives a message that it is switched off or constantly says engaged

the handset is very poor in quality given the price they have charged

Nokia E 72 — Problem in new handset E72,

I bought Nokia E72 about 2 weeks ago from Nokia Priority at Shipra Mall Ghaziabad.
Its IMEI number is [protected].
But since the day when i bought this hand set my life has become difficult because of its malfunctioning.

i have registered complaints number of times, visited their customer contact centres........ but nothing seems to work. Number of times the software is loaded in this handset, as every one in Nokia customer care will advise this...(as if this is the only thing they know ) but sorry this does solve my problem..

This is very sad that after spending about 17000/- INR, I am not able to use it as desired...........instead it is wasting time & is effecting my work.

So i request you to kindly look into this matter urgently.

The major problems that i am facing in this hand set are
- It hangs (about 2 to 3 time every day)
- Settings gets changed automatically
- shows error 'memory full' ( FYI in acctual memory is allmost empty & no other application is also opened )
-call drop
- emails get deleted automatically
- very slow in processing. normal size Attachments may take hours to open.
- loud speeker very bad
(nokia should not name it as loud speeker, as this is a shame for loud speeker)
- some times a currrrrrrr. noise in all conversations that does not allow to hear what the person is saying..
this disturbance will continue for all calls.........only will get over if i switch the handset off & on..
