[Resolved]  Nokia E6 - 00 — Defective Handset

Hi,
I am a suffered customer of yours who has decided not to buy Nokia products throughout my life.Let me elaborate a little: I had purchased a Nokia handset with the model no:
E6-00 from Reliance Digital , Bangalore ,India. Off-late the handset started giving me problem.A small white patch was coming on the middle of the screen almost prominently visible.As well after few days I also found that the handset was getting hanged frequently. Both the problems started probably from the month of June 2012.Since I had payed a huge amount so my concern towards the proper functioning of the handset was quite obvious. I gave the hand set to your authorized Nokia Care center here in Koramangala, Bangalore, India.They told me that they will have to send the handset to factory for a proper check as well for rectification, to which I was open.Accordingly they sent it to the factory and after almost sweet twenty days they responded back stating that my handset was ready. I went and collected the set.To add on to my frustration, I found that the set was as it is and the problem was still persistent.This annoyed me but still I kept my patience and again went to your service center and again deposited the handset.From then onwards this became a regular practice for me. Everytime I deposited the handset and everytime it came unrepaired.I was in continuous touch with your service team through mails, though the responses were not satisfactory at all.Unable to repair the handset they ultimate called me one fine day and told me that they will swap the handset with a new one and asked me to visit the Nokia care center again.As asked, I went there, and as per them ,they gave me a handset and told me that they have given a different handset, same model.I also took it as per their words and came back.When I started actually using the handset I found that both my problems were still there and this not only increased my restlessness but also put me into a big doubt on the brand, Nokia.It was the height of my diissatisfaction.
Again I had to put a mail to their customer care to which they asked me to handover the handset again to Nokia care.So on 27th of August 2012 I deposited the set to the same Nokia care.The jobsheet no is[protected]/120827/90.By the way, I should let you know that all these things were going on for the last 3 months and it was my 8th time that I had deposited the handset.
Then as per their last mail received, they told me to collect the handset from Nokia care on 5th of september 2012. Accordingly I went to collect the handset but this time also the story was same, and this time I checked the handset in front of your service person and again the white patch appeared which I showed to your service person as well.To this he told me to deposit the set again which might take another sweet seven days or more according to him.I was completely disappointed and came back and shooted a mail to their customer care.But I think they are least bothered to respond to my mails now since I think Nokia hardly bothers about customer care.I think the term customer care hardly has any importance in Nokia. Let me tell you that after this they called me and told that they are going to replace the handset and the new handset will be under invigilation with their service engineers and after complete check they are going to hand it over to me. To this I agreed and accordingly they called me after 5 or 6 days and told me that my handset was ready, the next day when I went to collect it I found the same problem which showed to their service engineer once again. And the same story started again, i.e. they again told me that they will have to send the handset to factory .Seeing this I got very angry and dissatisfied as well I told their engineer that I am going for consumer’s forum to which the engineer told me I can do whatever I feel like and the consumer’s forum can do nothing as per him. Now have decided to lodge a case against Nokia in consumer’s Forum.
