[Resolved]  Nokia — Handset not repaired under warranty

I purchased a cell Nokia Lumia 520 from Mobile Store Patna on 5th of June 2013.. After using a couple of days i experienced excess overheating in my cellphone.. I visited Nokia customer care but they said it is not a problem at first.. after using 10 more days i again visited customer care as the issue was really annoying.. on 15th june they just updated the cell n gave me back the cell.. i went there 3rd time on 27th june as the issue was not solved.. they said then that the cell will go to head office n will be repaired/replaced according to the nature of my cell's issue.. they called me on 29th june saying to collect the cell as it is repaired.. i went there to receive but i got disappointed again as the heating issue was not solved.. they said that they will send this time surely to delhi and they did on 29th june.. my cell reached after a month n i went there to collect it again on 25th july 2013.. this time also the issue was not solved..the manager himself admitted that the cell is defective and promised me to replace it and for that he needed to send it again to delhi.. on 25th july itself i submitted my cell fr the 4th time n i then went on 8th of august to collect it.. upto my dismay n harassment the cell was exactly the same n was not repaired again fr the 4th time.. they still accepted that the issue has still not been solved.. i am really frustrated by the behavior n service of Nokia.. i then took my cell losing all hopes that it will b repaired.. i ddnt expect this kind of tardy service from nokia even though my phone was brand new n was in the warranty period.. i feel cheated by nokia..

the name of the nokia care centre is Rooprang telecom, the executive's name is Dhirendra kumar, the engg's name is Rahul n the manager's name is Rashid..

i hope i will get justice..

Nokia — Nokia Repaired HandSet

With No Hello to Nokia Guyzz,

I had given my handset to get repiared from its problems Job Sheet no. is [protected].

I had told a problem for Pixel Missing in display..
tht problem is not been solved yet.i had given this handset in Nokia Care 5 times for the same problem..
I m Really FadUp. from Nokia...

Nokia — Handset was not repaired

Dear Sir

I purchased one handset of Nokia i e Nokia 2626 as on June'08 after one year automatically IC of network was not working so I give it to NOkia Care Center (Life Style, Infront of Deepak Hotel, 5Civil Lines Sagar(M.P).

After three days they called me told that set was not repaired as it is tempered from inside.so I take back my handset.

Today I again put Sim in a handset and it is working.


I just want to know if they are not able to repair that handset y they told me that set was tempered.If care centers propely not responding to customers, Where the hell customer went for reparing or any other services of Nokia get???

Nokia — not a joke

january 10,2010 i got a message saying congratulations your mobile number just won 110,000 pounds on this year nokia uk atm mobile promo for claims email
nokiauk live.com from no +[protected] is this real or some kind of sick joke

I got a text message from this number on my CORAL cell phone stating: "CONGRATS! Your Mobile Number just won 110, 000GBP in the NOKIAUK ATM Promo for claims email Your Names&Mobile Number to [protected]@live.com".
It's annoying, these stupid spam messages are not only coming to your email inbox but now your cell phone inbox.

I got that same message as well... is this a real thing.. i tried calling back the number and no one answered and i got a harsh replay stating "just e-mail"... where are they getting our personal numbers from???
I have got a nokia 5130 Xpress music before few months, now it's not working, then i gave my mobile to nokia priority shop, they told circuit board got damaged, nothing can do, now i have mobile without working.

This is in regard to my mobile phone (N97 mini), bought in April 2010 from Nokia showroom in South extension part I, New Delhi


1. I bought this phone in April 2010 with 1 year warranty
2. The side switch got broken in December 2010
3. The software is not working
4. The battery gets discharges every 2 hours
5. Went to Nokia showroom and they directed me to Nokia care in Lajpat Nagar
6. At first they refused to repair my phone without charging and after arguing a lot they accepted to repair it. They kept the phone for 2 days and said have repaired it .
7. The phone is not working again. I talked to Nokia helpline with no “HELP” form their side
8. I have spend Rs 240000/ on this phone and am stuck with it
9. I need urgent help from Nokia as its a worldwide company of repute and the customers should not feel cheated like this

I have my nokia 5130 c-2 xpressmusic from 1 year ... and suddenly the handset stopped to work ... ( when i plug or unplug the headset or something else if the screen is black it's turning on ... or how shoul i say ... ) I did go to the service and they told me after 2 weeks that they want something like 50 e to repair it , that is very hight price if i put another 50 i can buy a new one ... do anyone know what should i do ? ( after taking it back from service i observed that it wasn't even opened ... they just told me a price for replacing the main motherboard ... ) i saw that because i've tried to make it myself ... First thing i want to say sorry for my bad english , i hope you can understand ...

I am not satisfied.. The cell has purchased Just few months ago and already i have send it to the nokia care but again the problem consist and its not working (dead). I do not want a used handset. I am not interested in a used one. Kindly provide me a new handset ( Box Piece) or kindly repay of the money back.


I am very sorry to say - The service Nokia is providing are worse than the Government Service.. It is not satisfied the consumer but you are forcing the consumer.

I have not taken the replacement handset from the Nokia Care RT - Nagar, and I will not take until I Get a New one,

If Nokia is not taking this seriously, I should go through the proper channels. I will be wanting a acknowledgement from the Nokia Care on the letter.. (which has the same thing written) and we take it to the consumer Court. Also if I don’t get a reply within 2 days I will start sharing the same in the websites. Blogs.. Etc.. And beware ppl on the nokia and the service of the Nokia.

Again I will not ready to take a used handset as a replacement.. Kindly reply for the same ASAP.

I have purchased new handset nokia express music 5130 during the month of june 2010, but i regret to inform that it has poor service this phone does not work from the very beginning, i didnt understand why it has poor service, please register my complaint and replace my handset.



I believe on nokia blindly with their services and robustness. But just after one month, the handset started giving troubles. Its key was not working properly and gradually it stoped working.



since the then time the mobile set is hanged problems. for that i have requested the shopkeeper to replace or repair it but unfortunately atlest 30 repeatidly visits to the shop, i always have been assured for the next time for the same. now i am fedup with that situation.



I REQUEST U TO REPLACE MY HANDSET BECAUSE I M NOT SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICE OF NOKIA EXPRESS MUSIC EVEN FOR A SINGLE DAY. I want to draw your kind attention towards the rude and irresponsible behavior of nokia employee Mumtaz she is the center manager of nokia care in Lajpat Nagar. New delhi ( india)

I have visited there as Nokia handset display is not working properly so handover my handset to care executive first they didn't gave me any job sheet and i was waiting for my handset for 45 mins after checking handset they update me there is water gone inside your handset due to which their is a problem in display.

and if you wanna repair it that cost you Rs.4250/- But the reason which they gave me that's not true because I am t very much sure that this is not the reason.and one more thing my cell phone is in under warranty

I have explained the details to Mumtaz but she was so rude and ave not at all supportive not even explained the things clearly .

This kind of behavior in inexcusable and an unpleasant surprise from a company like Nokia.I would like your suggestion or resolution,Keep in mind,however that your action will demonstrate how much you value my continued purchase with you company.

kindly update me asap i can't wait for so long replace my handset either refund my money if you are not able to do that then i will file a case regarding the same in consumer court

Nokia — Rude behavior and did not provide warranty for the product

I am writing this mail to forward a complaint to against one of the “Nokia Priority Partner” in Delhi, India.

6 months back I bought a new Nokia “C6-01” phone from Nokia Priority outlet (D-154, Kamla Nagar) Delhi, India. At the time of purchase I also bought a “Screen Guard” in order to protect my screen from scratches. At that time I was told that I can use the original screen on Nokia cell which the company provides and once it gets off I can visit the store to get it replaced with the screen guard I have bought.
Due to excellent quality of Nokia products the screen last for 6 months and after that I visited the store on 19th May, 2012 to get it replaced with the screen I bought at the time of purchase. On visiting the store they replaced the screen but when I asked them for the 6 months warranty they promised at the time of purchase, they simply refused to provide the same.

The sales person firstly, refused to admit that he promised a warranty at the time of purchase but when I had an argument he started saying that the company has stopped providing warranty on them. But when I emphasized that its an old purchase and not a new and the warranty should prevail, he started giving other excuses.

After some argument he even started abusing me and also told me that if I meet him outside he would beat me. He was very rude and his entire sales team started arguing with me. Eventually I had to leave the outlet without the warranty on the screen guard.

On the whole I never expected such a behavior from a Nokia Priority outlet. The purpose of visiting a priority shop is that you expect genuine products of the company as well as a good customer service. But by seeing such a display of behavior at company’s outlet I was really disappointed. I expect that the company should take a strong action against such people else it would spoil its loyal customer base.
