Nokia N79 — UNSATISFACTORY REPAIR WORK | |||
I HAVE NOKIA N79 TYPE-RM-348 MOBILE WHICH I PURCHASED THIS YEAR. RIGHT FROM BEGINNING THIS MOBILE SUDDENLY VIBRATES AND THE SCREEN COLOUR CHANGES. NOW IT HAS REACHED A STAGE WHERE THE MOBILE SUDDENLY HANGS. ON SHOWING IT IN THE SHOWROOM I WAS TOLD BY THE SERVICE ENGINEER THAT THE MEMORY CARD HAD VIRUS SO THE MOBILE WAS GIVEN BACK TO ME AFTER REMOVING THE MEMORY CARD AND I WAS TOLD TO CHANGE THE MEMORY CARD. HOWEVER THE MOBILE HUNG WITHOUT THE MEMORY CARD IN IT. ON CHECKING FOR VIRUS IT WAS OBSERVED THAT IT WAS NOT AFFECTED BY VIRUS MOREOVER THIS MEMORY CARD WAS WORKING FINE IN OTHER MOBILES THEREFORE THE REASON GIVE WAS FALSE. THE SAME WAS CONVEYED TO THE SERVICE ENGINEER. AS THE SAME PROBLEM REOCCURRED THE MOBILE WAS TAKEN AND WAS RETURNED THE NEXT DAY SAYING IT WAS READY. ON BRINGING IT BACK HOME THE SAME PROBLEM ONCE AGAIN OCCURRED I.E., HUNG. SO I HAD TO TAKE IT BACK TO THE SERVICE CENTER IN PATTOM. THIS TIME I WAS TOLD THAT THE SET HAS TO GO TO DELHI FOR REPAIR. NOW AFTER 12 DAYS I RECEIVED IT AND WITHIN 2 DAYS THE VIBRATION AND CHANGE OF SCREEN COLOUR HAS STARTED AGAIN. IT IS THEREFORE REQUESTED THAT MY MOBILE SET MAY BE REPLACED AS IT IS STILL IN THE WARRANTY PERIOD. i 'm in big problem,i talked technical support executive many times.there is no positive response.nokia care people don't behave properly.they take time to respond on asking they don't reply.when i cal manager of nokia care he says he left the job.i've submitted my mob atporr. & sons pvt ltd,chennai.
from 7 months i've visited nokia care twice a month atleast.i want a good handset for what i've paid 15000 only nothing else.
i've submitted my handset almost 7- 8 times for same problem,sometimes i was given the same jobsheet.

Nokia — unsatisfactory repair done
sir, i purchased nokia 6300 six months ago..1 month back my phone started switching off automatically. on handiong over my phone to nokia care centre several times i m not getting satisfactory result. my phone remains with you in 20 days a month. even sending to your bhopal office for repair i m not getting satisfactory result. Is ur staff not competent enough to repair a phone? i m not at all satisfied with ur service. Because of this instance i will not purchase any more nokia handsets...This is my last try..
Otherwise i will turn towards consumer forum.
