This is to bring to your notice that I recently purchased an Olympus FE-35 less than 2 weeks ago, and already I have had to give it in for repair as the LCD screen is damaged. Please note that this situation has occured inspite of having taken utmost care in the handling of the camera. When I gave the camera in, I was informed that warranty will not take care of the damage, as it was due to improper handling and not a manufacturing defect. I would beg to differ and like to mention that the LCD was damaged from the inside and seems to be a result of oxidation or something similar. I would like to voice my dissatisfaction about the product and the way after sales service is being managed. I would like to have a replacement of the camera at the earliest under warranty. Hoping for a speedy resolution of the situation. I am expected to wait 15 days for a change of the LCD!!! (how rediculous) Was this information helpful? |
