[Resolved]  Pan Card — DELAY IN PAN CARD APPLICATION PROCESSING

Dear Sir

I have applied for a new PAN CARD. On 07/07/09 i received a SMS for the ACKNOWLEDGMENT. My ACKNOWLEDGMENT NUMBER is [protected]. Its been 3 weeks but still the status say : Your application is under process at Income Tax Department. Please reply on my mail id as soon as possible as it is very essential to me.Otherwise suggest me what to do? whether I will apply again for a new card or for the duplicate one.waiting for your reply.

Dear Sir / Madam,

I dont know what is the issue with regards to my application for above mentioned PAN Card no. & acknowledgement no. since I have submiited all my documents to update my new address & it was never stated that I need to submit my 6 months bank statment since I have given my passbook 01st page as address proof.

I was just getting email from [protected]@tinonapp2 that - Transaction page has not been provided with the bank statement/passbook. Re-submit the bank passbook/statement along with the transaction page.

But no where it was explained what exactly is transaction page, what do they wan &why do they want it. It was difficlut to get in touch with anyone on customer care no. provided on website finally I was able to speak with someone on the no. 020 – 2721 8080 that I received from one of the email from NSDL. I spoke to Akshad there & to my shock I was advised to submit my passbook statments for 6 month to prove that my account is active. When I tried to understand that why is it important to submit 6 month details since even if I submit last 2 month details they are enough to prove that my account is active.

In the end I have submmited through email mentioned above my bank statment from March - till date since I still dont agree & believe to submit 6 month statement for address change. But I am still not confident in the sytem & prcess followed by NSDL that my PAN card will be updated with new address after struggling so much to understand what exactly is transaction page where they can simply expalin the same in the email that is sent to us.

Would request someone to intervene & help to resolve the issue & also if someone can really simplify the process by sending detailed email rather than using some pre-fixed nomanclature since those are not explanatory at all...

I A Mahendra Reddy applied pan card for first time got it in 45 days with date of birth errors.BCCPA9136J
Now I applied for date of birth modification still there is no proper response from customer service point I'm worried about them even they don't know English and Hindi speaking only in Tamil language and they will not answer calls properly.
WHETHER IT IS MANDATORY PROCESS SHOULD BE PERFECT.

And when i checked my status of PAN Card,

PAN card will be despatched only to the communication address provided in your PAN application. *Wherever the Representative

Assessee (RA) details (item no.14 in Form 49A) are mentioned in the application, PAN Card will be despatched to the RA's address.

After too many mails and complain, status showing as "We have received the documents with reference to your PAN application. Your application is under process with NSDL". kindly let me inform the actual status and time to generate PAN asap.

So, I request you to please kindly look into this plz send..., ...very urgent need of pan card .

I have applied for pan card, through online on nsdl website on 27.03.2017, through online on nsdl website and Status Tracked on https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/tan/servlet/PanStatusTrack.

But Status has been the Same i.e. We have received the documents with reference to your PAN application. Your application is under process with NSDL

Acknowledgement No is N-[protected]

Income tax customer Care is the worst network I've come across. They are least bothered about people problem. They hardly do any work apart from eating their lunch on time. I wonder what is your working time.
