i had a similar problem, i filed for PAN through UTI and they entered a wrong name for my name in their online form.
And then i was asked to correct it.

But the procedure was not that difficult. i had to send them a letter stating that "my original name is so and so . Please make necessary changes in your system."

i had a similar problem, i filed for PAN card through UTI and they compared and mismatch in the father's name as per ITD and i filed request on dated 19.6.2008 bearing reqeust No. 863797 and after that submitted an affidavit duly attested by the Magistrate on 27.8.2008 for correction in father's name.
Please make necessary changes in your system."

Sir, as we have filed returns through E- Return on 30-September-2008 of M/s ESVE CONSULTANTS, PAN No. ABSPV 5652 N .
We have not received the confirmation acknowledgement till the present date.
As we have submiut the acknowledgement to the IT Department within 15 days .
We request to send the confirmation as early as possible.

i had a minor complaint reagarding the date of birth bymistake the department have entered the wrong date of birth instead of[protected] to[protected].
so the department can provide me any kind of assurit letter or any ting that can prove that m pan card and pan number is not faq.

Dear sir, Actually I have a complaint against a shopkeeper. He has a shop of mobile and doing business of selling and repairing of mobile and accessories. But I have never seen him that he is filing any it returne. Although he is earning a lots of money and making jewellries and other properties. and he is saying that he is not bound to file any it return. He has a PAN card but it is not for working I guess. Problem is that he is missusing his money for some illegeal works. I am not aware abt that work. where should I complaint against him. I dont have any personal issue with him but he is doing illegal things and that is bohering me. I can not bear any illegal things in this socety.

I also lodge a complaint, no. 1508599 on dated 30.10.09 AAYAKAR SAMPARK KENDRA at phone no.[protected]. This phone number informed me that pan no. "AAKPC 1098A" is showing de-activated by the UTI Technology service Ltd. but at another place this PAN no. is showing activated.
As per the advice of the resource person available on the above said phone no. I am trying again for the PAN CARD on dt. 12.11.09 but no response met. I tried again to income tax department via phone no.[protected] on dt. 13.11.09 as per request number 1523775 for issuing the pan card but no response met me again.

In response to which received a letter from UTI, Mumbai regarding PPC Objection on Sex mismatch and asked for proof on the month of July. I sent mobile bill for address proof and copy of SSC pass certificate for Sex proof by Speed Post receipt no. EE[protected]IN on 10/08/2010.
But Sir, the card has not been dispatched till now. As I have sent my Original previous card I am facing so many trouble.

i m vijendra and i can assure you that they are not going to despatch your pan card .
they are their for the money they are getting in the form of application fee and they are very happy with the way they are going and they wil not send anything to you because then they have to do something and which they can't do because they are the " kamchore "

Hi

When I tried to register online for e-tax filing, on providing my PAN number it is displaying wrong PAN number.
Tried to know registered PAN number online it is displaying wrong PAN number agains my information.

Please let me know what to do next to correct this information.

I can't able to register myself in e-return filing. While in the proces of registering I am receiving the error message as 'your surname is not same with the data entered'. I've tried with all options. But failed to register. My pan card # AJQPP4728H. Please do the needful for registering myself.
