[Resolved]  Paschimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited — Non installation of Check meter/Excessive meter reading and bill amount/Faulty meter

I had complained about excessive meter reading and bills and that apart, to assess the real consumption/usage I had requested for installation of check meter. Despite my repeated requests, day to day follow up and 5-6 letters, nothing has been done. In the last four months I have been made to pay a whopping 45000/- rupees, while my average consumption is not more than 1000/1200/-. All my efforts in the direction have fell through and all requests have fell on deaf ears. I am a service class person and each passing day is painfull for me . This is a flagrant example of apathy shown by the officials of company and inhuman attitude meted out to the consumers who are religiously paying their bills. My connection no. is 1006/179086 (Vivek Tyagi).It is requested that the check meter(I had deposited the requisite fee) may kindly be installed at once and excess amount may be returned to me at the earliest. It is also requested that further bill may not be issued till the adjustment of amount.

I want to inform you about the deteriorated condition of your infrastructure which is being gone verst day by day, as your department is denced with the corrupt persons who are conuously collecting the money from the subscribers and provoke them for the electricity theft particularly in the area of DLF-II, Bhopura Ghaziabad (UP). I am residing in the B-1 Block, and sustaining agreat loss, due to the pilferage of the electricity by the resident of B-1 Block in conievance with the supervisory authorities i.e J/E staff. Kindly the concerned X.E.N may be directed to constitute a high level team and conduct a confidential raid and a discreet inquiry may be conducted against the eronious persons.
it is to inform you that the residents of B-1/62 &63are conuously taking the privellage of electricity theft as they are giving the bribe to the officials who are getting checked the meters and the executive staff of J/E, Kindly look into the matter and inquiry against the erronious persons be conducted. As well the resident of B1/62 & 63 who are found to be involved in such activities a legal action may be taken against them. so that the pilferage of electricity could be restrained. As well, the law abiding and loyal residents of these two buildings could reside peacefully and conviniently.

We have requested in wirting to JE, Shri Bedi that phase line may be executed at Railway track side in Sector-2B (New) Vasundhra plot no. 910-927(Near Arthla Railway Crossing) where some residents are residing and wherein domestic connections are given through the street line. Nagar Nigam Ghaziabad (Street light Department) has noticed that domestic connections may be disconnected from street light line because this line only for street light. We have again requested to Executive Engineer, Division-IV and SDO & JE Sector-10, Vasundhra that this problem may be solved for execute the phase line.

My Connection Number is 252192 and Book No. is 4004, Sector-4, Vaishali. I have been receiving bills like this for the last two-three months. For example, Previous Meter Reading is 4266 dated 13.07.2011 and Current Reading is 4117 dated 09.08.2011 and total units consumed is 160 (the calculation also wrong). The difference between bill date and due date is just 7 days (which is not sufficient), and the bill amount comes to Rs.1513/-. The bill was received in my house as well as in website address. It is more painful for me to see such types of bills. How is the current reading be less than the previous reading though the (real current reading) as on 29.08.2011 is 4118. Will the Electric Department look into these and instruct the concerned persons who visit the houses for checking the current reading and making the bills?
I have not got bill from last 2 months ( March & April) .
In the month of may I have got bill of amount Rs 1894 for 91 meter units reading .

For the Feb month last reading was 117 which was paid Rs 698/- & in may it is calculated from 117 to 208 .
How come amount of Rs 1894 for 91 units and also it shows outstanding amount of Rs 2292 for March & April

Electricity bill is not clear & unfair amount is charged to us . Pls look into this .
