Respected Sir,

I Bharat Prasad resident of Gopalganj, Bihar have applied for the passport on 26th Dec 2007 file number:- W213347, I have recieved the passport on 24th March 2009 but with wrong address like present address and permanent address is mixed. I have recieved the passport luckly. When i spoke to the passport officer at Patna Passport office as per him i was supposed to submit the Passport along with the application. I did the same on 24th April 2009 and was asured that i'll be recieving the same within 15 Days. After 15 Days on 19th May 2009 i enquired about the same the passport officer says there was mistake from my end. I have mentioned the wrong address. I will have to reapply for the same with fresh application and appliation fee. Now a new story. When ever i talked to him, every time he spoked to me in a harsh manner. He is not there to help people he is there to give troubles to the people who are applying for the passport.

Please help for the same.

I am a resident of Jammu and i had applied for the passport long back.About 3 months ago my enquiry by CID officer was done fully and he had given it further to the department(as informed by him) but till date to my dismay,the passport is still not recd .

When i check the status of the same on internet,it shows that police verification is not recd so i really dont understand where are the papers and where is the file.

I have spoken abut it at jammu office and they informed that the passport is ready and it is sent to the ghaziabad deptt on 02.12.2010 which is still not reached here in ghaziabad even after 14 days after despatch.

As i have applied for the passport dated on 15/12/07 and the police as well as the local intelligence enquirey have all ready been done in the month of january it self but still i have not resieved my passport.
sir kindly look in to my matter.

passport — Waiting for 100 days for Passport

Hi sir,

I applied passport for my wife on 19/05/2008, with ref no Z506163. Initially in status enquiry on 15/07/2008 given "Police enquiry completed and passport will be dispached on 28/07/2008 ..." but after 01/07 it is changed to " Passport issue is delayed due to unavoidable reasons and will be dispached in a weeks time...". Later it is changed to " Passport issued and will be dispached by 27/08..." Still the status is same.
I am in another country.
Kindly let me know how to deal with this.

Hello, I had applied for my passport and my minor daughter's passport on[protected] under tatkal scheme since we have to travel in Januray. The references numbers are Y012833 and T046433. i have applied for my passport (6 month) on dec 3rd 2008 in Jaipur and police enquiry has been done in the last week of jan 2009. However I have not yet received my passport. From the last two month, more precisely from the month of April'09, on the passport enquiry site it has been showing that "Due to unavoidable reasons your passport will be dispatched within a week's time". I applied for my passport on 25th May 2009.My File No is A038220.My police verification was ok and so the online status showed that my passport has been dispatched on 18/08/2009.

But later when I didn’t received it after 15 days I again went to Kolkata Passport office to check the status they said that your passport has come back due to wrong mailing address given.

The officer in charge told me to write an application to rectify the mistake that the Regional Passport Office had done.

I submitted my application stated that the passport to be sent in my correct address on 8/09/09 they told me to come after one week. When I went again on 16/09/09 they gave me a token also but after about 3hrs I came to know that they have not received any message from Delhi about my Passport. They said there is some other system which will implement from Delhi for which it will be delayed for 15- 20 days. I am very confused that what actually has happened with my passport .

Last time when I visited passport office they said that your name in police report is not clear so they have send the report to police for correction.
Then I am visiting police station from last 3 months and they are saying that they haven’t received any report from passport office and passport officer is saying that they have send it police.
I don’t know which person is to believe.

passport — Passport Not received After 82 days of Submission passport Application.

I had submitted a complete form to prepare my Passport to passport Office Jaipur on 25th March, 2010.
But still i had not received my passport.

The Regional passport office at chennai, Passport Application status is updated only upto 3rd June 2010. I had submitted the passport application for my 2nd (new born) daughter on 09th June 2010. I am unable to find the status. Both myself and my wife is having passport and valid VISA. I am working in Muscat. I have to bring my family here as early as possible. My 1st daughter is also having valid VISA and studying here in Muscat. My daughter's school is reopening on 25th July. I have to arrange for my 2nd daughter's visa and air ticket to all before this month end. I had went personally to Chennai Regional Passport Office to submit the passport on 09.06.10 and submitted the application in the normal channel. I had also was having appointment for tatkal application submission on 17.06.10 But they have not accepted to preponement for submitting the tatkal application.All this was happend after the following story. Actually I had submitted My passport and my wife's passport during 1st week of May for address change purpose.I could not succeeded in that process. I had cancelled the service and applied the passport in the old address itself.After the long sturgle in Chennai Passport Office I had cancelled the service and taken back my passport after one month. I had already extended my annual vacation at that time because of this problem. All this I explained to RPO and his persoanl secertary and accept to preponement of my tatkal application. They all neglected me and treated me as a dog. This is the kind of respect for the NRI's getting in India. There is no one is having the authority to ask them this? we are struggling in abroad to dvelope India through Foreign money. I was totally upset and feeling very sad. I am very shame to share this type of response in Chennai Passport Office. When India will improve??????????????? and How will improve????????????????

Dear Sir,

We applied for the passport on[protected] of file nos as mentioned bellow. But still today we have not received any passport documents. We already send a complain mail to rpo.[protected]@mea.gov.in on Jun 26,2010 but we did not received any reply. The mentioned applied person MD. MOTIUR RAHMAN SARKAR(GUWA010232), FATEMA BAGUM(GUWA010237), JUBEDA KHATUN(GUWA011924) are Govt. Employee and submitted the Annuxure B,NOC along with the application form. All the NOC were issued by Inspector Of School with his Name, Address,Phone No as per instruction. All NOC were counter signed by DC court Nagaon Assam after police verification.

MD SHAHABUDDIN SARKAR(GUWA010230) is retired Govt. Employee and Pilgrim Passport holder. He retired on[protected]. But status showing need to submit AnnuxureB,NOC. As suggested by APO we submitted an application again along with retired certificate on[protected].

All these passport was applied for Haj 2010 and last date of submitting passport to Haj committee of India with in August,2010.

But after 3 month we get to know from the APO, Guwahati passport office that the counter signed also mentioned with address and phone nos. As we get to know that all the govt. employees of the same department also applied with the same. But they got their passport earlier. I want to know what is the reason of objection on AnnuxureB,NOC and delay on process ?

As I visited the passport office more than 15 times but the repose are same. Now APO officer asked to submit the AnnuxureB,NOC with Address and Phone No of the counter signed person. We could not claim for AnnuxureB,NOC again guiding them to provide what passport office need. They verify as per their instruction. If any such verification or clarification need then passport office should approach as per their requirement of verification.They did not response with good understanding so that we get the exact issue. As I mentioned that Annexure B,NOC was counter signed by DC court after police verification as per their instruction how could we again claim for address and phone nos for the files.

When people of same Govt. Employee could get the passport with same documents then why should not we. The only difference is that those people goes through broker and agents with more money.

I am writing this later expecting that we will received some reply and answer. When there is some mail ID mentioned for complain and suggestion then it should be repose by some one. We all people having value of time and respect.

Passport site shown a status "POLICE HAS RECOMMENDED FOR POLICE VERIFICATION FROM YOUR PERMANENT ADDRESS. PLEASE FURNISH 3 PERSONAL PARTICULAR FORMS OF PERMANENT ADDRESS" this status was shown before verification from kanpur address , so i submitted 3 personal particular forms of permanent address at the time of verification.but still after three months the status is same as earlier. even Kanpur police/ LIU has dispatched the documents on 16.06.2010 vide no.979 (as they told my brother).to gaziabad.

Now may i know what else i have to do or how much time will it take because my future and career depends on my passport. It is my humble request to you sir, please look into the matter

Tele enquiry no. and e-mail id ..both are eyewash to public. Last one week i am trying this no. and its ringing . No one is willing to lift the call as well as no reply of mail.
This is hectic govt.institution..indulge in corruption . While entering to submission of application the passport office employees are getting money from Agents and allowing them to enter without standing in queue.

Higher authority should check it personally as standing in queue like normal person and call to their tele-enquiry no. at the name of External affairs dept.

totally agreed to what is commented above, as i have bad experience with passport office bangalore. on their port nicely they have newsletter moving all time however those mother[censored]er do not even know what the [censored] the are doing, and their call center is one step ahead, i just spoke to one of cse name Muniya Samy, who told i need to login at 8 am everyday to check if i can get slot for appointment or not. so i asked for his supervisor(Theophin A) the name looks like some one from Portugal. he repeated the same. the i asked him why the portal is saying something different than what he said. their attitude is so bad. he saying there are global call centre and they can not disclose their location. i just hope they are not situated in Philippians or Portugal.

If a passport was ready in feb why the delay. All formalities, police verification was completed in March but still no sign of my passport. WHO SHOULD BE CONTACTED FOR INFORMATION AND STATUS OF MY PASSPORT. This is sheer harrasment to people like us who have to stand 5 hrs in the heat to apply for passport and then for months no information about passport. I THINK SOME ACTION SHOULD BE TAKEN.

I had applied for passport from RPO Chandigarh vide receipt No CHD Z39101009 dt 18 Mar 09. My husband is a government employee and gets transferred from place in every two to two and half years. hence due to his transffer we shifted from Hisar(Haryana) to Bhopal on 04 Apr 09. I have applied for Passport via Post Office, I have submitted all my documents with DD for Rs.1000.00 and also got receipt (BHUW[protected] on 17.04.10. It has already passed 90days, But till now no body have verified my address and I have not received my Pass Port.

So I feel what our govt system is. they only can blame public if public made any late they are treated like cheater and charged with interest, penalty and even govt also sue against him.

and what about govt system. they can cheat play and do any thing with public money. We are paying Fees for passport not for govt entertainment. If Passport officers are too busy what Govt is doing, Why they are not appointing offices and Why they are not opening new offices. and what about govt Schedules, Three months is not enough for them

Lets Wish I may get my card with in 1 year Still i thank god for the service of India Govt.

The status on the website today reads:
"Your Police Report is In-complete. Please submit 3 sets of personal perticulars form alongwith request application quoting your file no to concern Public Relation Officer."

I did have Police verification a month back, so I would like to understand how it remained incomplete. Also, I am unaware of who the concerned Public Relation Officer is whom I should contact.

i applied for my passport dated[protected], file No.hyd-H[protected] but still i did not get my passport. always i got the same status as (it will be despatched in week's time), could you tell me when i will get my passport.i am urgently in need of passport for attending interviews. in many companies with the eligibility criteria there they asked passport is necessary . in such conditions am unable to attend interviews. so i request you to provide my passport in earlier time and it will be helpful for my career.

I and my husband has applied for passport on 2/7/2010 and my husband has received the passport(Thanks). But my passport file no. DEL-Z070258 dated 02/07/2010 not received till date. As I am the Govt. employ I have submitted the NOC certificate and on checking on net of the Passport deptt. always it is written that my NOC is being sent to concern deptt. for verification. On inquiry from the concern deptt. it is found that they have not received the NOC for verification. Kindly look in to the matter and do the needful.

My name is Priyatama samal NO:THNO987946_File no: D 019727, i have applied for passport on 10th October, 2010 & police verification has been completed on 17th January, after 3 months of application. And even after, more than 3 weeks have been spent after police verification no status is available on the passport status portal.

Inspite of asking the status from mail request, no response have been received from the authorised personals (passport officers)

Where passport application system claims that its has 45 days of processing period, even after 4 months of application, no status is been available, can you please let us know why there is a flaw in this system.
where we claim to be an developed nation in the coming decade, we still are fighting for basic things.

RPO BPL — Non despatch of Passport

Sir,

I have applied for passport on line during Jan.2010. As directed, Application form and certificates deposited in RPO's office at Bhopal on 25.3.2010 vide File No. E000623. For the last three months the status of application is "Regret for delay in despatching the Passport which will be despatched in a week's time". Anybody can check my statement by typing the file No. and the year 2010. Online system is introduced to expepdite the issue. Passport office takes several months just for despatch shows their apathy. I have sent several e-mail to rpo-BPL but to no avail.
Request External affairs Minister and other concerned to look into it.
