i got my passport detales

i had applied for passport in the month of june2008 still now i didn't get any information about the my passport what is the status.

Dear Sir/Madam,

May I know the status of the following file reference no.: T 00114. I applied for passport in passport office Pondicherry for my 6 month old son on 6th April 2009. Particulars of the applicant are as follows:
Name : Gunavendan
Date of birth: 03/12/2008
For your information, I enquired about the status of my son’s passport about two weeks back but no reply yet. So far there is no police enquiry too.

One more information, can you explain me how exactly we can check the passport status for those who apply in Pondicherry passport office. I tried a lot of combinations in status enquiry in chennai passport office website nothing working out.

My Tatkal passport application has been rejected on 20th July, 2009 . I have submitted the following Documents for issue of tatkal passport.
1. Residence Certificate
2.OBC Certificate
3.PAN CARD
4.DRIVING LICENSE
5.M.B.B.S DEGREE CERTIFICATE
6. S.S.C. CERTFICATE
But my applicaion form was rejected because my residence certificate does not come under tatkal passport form. They want ration card or Voter I.D. CARD . But I have ration card with changed address .Along with this I will submit the verification letter from my local Station Police Officer. Will they accept it or not ?
