[Resolved] Passport Office Kolkata — Police Verification is taking too much time

Police Verification is taking too much timeI have applied for my passport on 28/03/2012 and the status shows that "Police Verification (PV) has been initiated and a PV request has been sent to DCSC Office, District Kolkata. Your passport will be dispatched after Clear Police Verification Report is received at Regional Passport Office." Even till date there has been no change in the status neither any pv hasbeen done.

No help is being received from customer care. My file number is CA[protected]. My date of birth is[protected].i have an urgency also..plz help....plz send PV as soon as possible....

ABOUT POLICE VERIFICATION — TAKING TOO MUCH TIME

APPLIED FOR POLICE VERIFICATION 15 DAYS BEFORE IN DCP OFFICE,HAUZ KHAAS,ALSO SUBMITTED MY PASSPORT COPY..BUT STILL POLICE OF MY REGION VASANT KUNJ,NOT VISITED..I'M IN VERY MUCH NECCESITY..BECAUSE I CAN LOOSE MY JOB WITOUT POLISE VERIFICATION..I HAVE TO JOIN AIRPORT IN MUMBAI..SO,I NEED CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE FROM MY CURRENT ADDRESS..THAT IS DELHI,MAHIPALPUR

I have applied for passport at 17th Sept, but still the Police Verification is pending and upon enquiring with local police station they are not aware about such procedure.. Please help on urgently.
