[Resolved]  Passport Office Lucknow — Passport not issued even after 22 months!!

we did not received the passport

i have applied for pasport on 12 june 08.all formalties like police verification and LIU verification has been done.as per liu and police record they have despatched the report to pasport office on 11 nov 08, but computer status is still showing that police verification is pending.my file no. is LKOA107419.please

dear sir/madam,
i applied my passport on 29/10/2007 file no p 038731 and the police enquiry has been done after a month.after 3-4 months i got a later from passport office that they have some query regarding my 10std marksheet so plz come with it to the office.i went to the office with the original document and done all the procedure what they said and i got ans that now i will be getting it in next 8 days but again after a week i got the same later which they send me before.i again done the same thing and this cycle is going on since more then a year.so plz do the needfull n help me out with this as now i want my passport for business purpose.

my file has no objections, Then why it is taking so long it is almost one and half year when i have submitted my application form.I am really in need of the passport now and i dont know what kind of process is going on and why its taking so long, I have visited regional passport office so many times and still their is no action.my police varification is over before some months and now i have completed my Mba and i got job abroad and my passport is not ready. just tell me what to do during such circumantances.

mera naam Abha kesharwani hai. mai allahabad, u.p. ki nivaasi hu. mai aksar paasport se related websites me dekhti hu, ki paasport ke liye bribe na de, par phir bhi jab paasport ka police verification hota hai tab, police wale bribe jaroor maangte hai. aur agar ham mana karte hai dene ke liye to police wale hamara verification ka kaam na karne ki dhamki dete hai. mai b.tech ki student hu, last year mere father ek road accident me expire kar gai the, islye mere ghar me earning ka koi saadhan nahi hai. ye saari baat batane ke bavzood police verification ke time police walo ne Rs. 500 maanga. aur jab maine mana kia to mera kaam na karne ki dhamki di, ab aap hi bataiyen mai aise samai pe kya karti. par maine kaha mere paas abhi 500 rupai nahi hai, par police ne meri ek na suni, isliye muje 200 rupai dena pada, police ne mujhse 200 rupai to le liye par baaki ke bache300 rupai agle din lane ko kaha. agle din mere exam chal rahe the jiski vajah se mai police station nahi ja saki, par tabhi 2 din ke baad hi mere ghar LIU wale verification ke liye aa gai, aur LIU walo ne mujhse koi bribe nahi maanga. aur mera verification kar ke chale gai. mujhe laga ki ab dubara police station jane ki jarorat nahi padegi, kyoki, police ne mera kaam kar dia, par agle hi din mera exam tha mai ghar pe nahi thi, colge gai thi. tabhi mere ghar police aati hai aur bache hue 300 rupai maangti hai, us samai mere ghar meri mataji thi, police phir meri mataji ko dhamki deti hai ki, agar aap hame paise nahi denge to ham aapka paasport ka kaam rok denge. isvajah se meri mataji ko 300 rupai dena padta hai.saath me police 10 rupai aur maangti hai ki ham itni dur se aapka ghar dhunde dhundte aai, kuch chai paani ke liye dijiye., usme bhi meri mataji ko 10 rupai dena padta hai. muje to is baat ka aur bhi dukh hai ki, police ko verification ke liye ghar aana chaiye par, police ne ulta hame hi phone kar ke police station bulaya, aur jab hamne pure paise nahi diye to tab jakar police hamare ghar aati hai aur vo bhi sirf paise lene ke liye, aur extra 10 rupai alag maangti hai. meri mata ji to ghabra gai thi, aur isi dar se meri mataji ko police ko saare maange hue paise dene pade. ye saari baatein mujhe tab pata chalti hai, jab mai exam dekar, colge se ghar aati hu. ab aap hi bataiyen, aise cases me ham kya kare ? bribe to hamse jabarjasti maanga gaya, dhamki dekar, upar se mere ghar me koi bada hai nahi, ek mere papa the, jo road accident me expire kar gai, jiski vajah se ham log police se aur dar gai. aap bataiyen ab ham kya kare.

Passport office Lucknow — Passport not issued even after police & L.I.U verification

Respected Sir/Madam,

This is a complaint for the issuance of my Passport (File No. LKOA[protected]. I had applied my passport in 7th,dec2009 at Passport office Lucknow, but could not get my passport till date.
I would like to tell you the sequence of events happened after I applied for a passport.

before 15th January 2010 all the inquiry was completed.
till now The status was "police verification report is not submitted ".

I would also like to share the true experience when I went to the passport office.The passport office was looking like a corruption market. A lot of agents were walking to and fro. They were telling the people that if you need your passport in one month then give me 2000 Rs., if in 15 days then give me 4000 Rs. Otherwise it 's not certain when you will get your passport made. I knew that those guys may be fraud. But today I think that they may be correct, because they were saying that everyone working in the passport office has his share of money that they charge as a bribe.

I am finding myself helpless that's why I am registering my complaint here.
Kindly look into the matter and get my passport made as soon as possible.

I shall be highly obliged if some concrete actions are really taken.

Had applied for my son's (Zoheb alam Khan) passport (File No.LKOA[protected] on 18.9.2009. LIU and Police enquiry was done during first week of Nov.2009. After that for two months it was being shown in Status of Passport Application that "Police report is incomplete and the matter is being examined". When I contacted RPO, Lucknow on 28.1.10 it was informed that the Police report sent by LIU is found to be incomplete and I was advised to submit an affidavit requesting RPO for LIU enquiry again. I submitted an affidavit for Police enquiry again on 01.02.10, but till date I have not received any enquiry from LIU/Police for my son's passport. Please look into the matter on top most priority basis and arrange LIU enquiry again.

Hi

I would like to suggest you write an RTI application and submit it to nearby GPO (General Post Office) with the fee of Ten rupees.
There are following steps.

1) Write an RTI application on a plain paper [ You can take help from the sample application attached with this mail. ]
2) Photo copy it.
3) Visit Head Post Office nearby and submit the application. Get photocopy stamped by post office & take this copy with you.
4) Now relax. With in one/two weeks your passport should be with you.

Its a simple effective step. Just try this at least once only before paying bribe to any govt official.
