[Resolved]  passport renewal — Non acceptance of passport for renewal

I am residing in London, UK and wanted to invite my husband and daughter to join me. My passport was issued in Yemen and so was my husbands passport and my daughters passport was issued in Nairobi. My daughters passport has expired and needs to be renewed we are trying to get a slot for the appointment to submit her application form but to no avail, My husband asked some agents and they are asking exobirant amount of 12000 rupees to process her application. this sounds weird. just for renewal of a minors passport do I have to shell out this amount ? is it fair?

My passport copy and my husbands passport copy are available and so is the bonafied certificate of my child who is studying in Narayana school. Please can anyone help us in directing us for getting her renewal done because schools in Uk start in September.
