Passport — status not available

Sir, my friend has applied for passport at the warangal passport office and his police verification was also done , in January. but he has not yet received his passport and the status is not available in net . his file number is HYD-Z[protected]. status shows "file name is not valid or information not available". what are we supposed to do now. he needs his passport very badly. thank you
