[Resolved]  Personal Loan - Copy Of CIBIL Report — Barclays Finance says will not issue a copy of the CIBIL report

Respected Sir/Madam,


I had applied for a personal loan at Barclays finance about 3-4 weeks ago. The Loan got rejected due to reasons based on the CIBIL report. I spoke with the branch manager (Hritika) and requested for a copy of my CIBIL report. However, accoring to her Barclays Finance has a policy of not issuing any such document to it's customers.

I had gone through the CIBIL site and what I learnt was that; If a customer requires his CIBIL information he can request it from the bank that his/her loan got rejected from, if that was based on CIBIL.

Apart from the pathetic customer service displayed by every employee that I interacted from this Bank they also fail to adhere to the rules and regulation laid down by the RBI.

This is the Trimulgiri branch in Hyderabad (AP) and the people I interacted with were Feroz (executive) - who aks for money to get things done illegally, Poornima (Co-ordinator - i guess) who is very unprofessional with the customer and Hritika - Branch Manager (who hesitates to disclose her name to the customer and expect them to believer her, has no clue of how to manage a branch and is not aware of the terms and conditions laid down by the RBI in relation to the CIBIL).

I request you to please look into this matter. All I ask for is a copy of my CIBIL report since I got different answers for the rejection of my loan from the executive and the branch manager. I can trust neither of them as they seemed to be adiment on not giving me a loan.
