[Resolved]  Philips / 24 Inch LCD TV — LCD is not working within 45 days of purchase

We purchased 24 inch LCD TV from Garg Traders Berkhera BHEL Bhopal who are Philips distributor and commited 4 years warranty for which a card was also provided by philips. it went in operational within 45 days of working and they are not changing the LCD as of till now. Service center executives have taken away they LCD TV with them on 21 of may 2011 and a complaint is also logged in the cx support department on 17 of may 2011 but neither a replacement has been provided for that nor a replacement has been done till now. just requesting for a day or 2 continuously.

I have contacted at the same number as provided in your website which is[protected] and for the last 2 months i don't have any other work then to keep on calling them for updates. They have taken away the LCD for repairing / replacement on 21 of may 2011 and still no solution. Even the BPO people don't have proper ethics or the way they should communicate with a customer. I think i have made calls to them and your technical support people for more then 50 times but of no use. I have communicated with the floor supervisor Himanshu and am not receiving any call backs or updates from them. I have already logged a complaint in the consumer forum for the same and the next date for hearing is on 8 of september. Now i don't want to use any product being developed or marketed by philips and will care that non of my colleagues and the known persons should use them. The distributor Garg traders has provided that to me without a table stand for which i've made complaints to philips service centre but gone for no use, because when their people have come for collecting the LCD packaging were asking from me where is the table stand. So on a whole all the distributors, developers and the support centre of Philips is of no use. They are cheaters and liars. If you want to waste your finances then opt for a philips product. What sort of speedy resolution is that which takes mare then 45 days. Its a shame for philips company and their owners.
