[Resolved] Philips — Servicing on defective product | |||
Hi, I am Saravanan Ponmudi. I bought a 40 inch LED TV on 22.03.2013 in Denmark and brought it to India with an international insurance. I found it to be a defective product as it was not turning on at all.So I called up the customer care and registered a complaint on 25.03.2013. A service engineer inspected the TV and said it has a problem in the Scanner PC and went back. Then I had to follow up with the customer care so many times to understand how I can get this fixed.They have directed me to contact the service centre and I have spoken to them also without proper response(Dharsini electronics).They have aggreed to replace/fix my TV,but they have not come back after that.I have to call customer care everytime and have to follow up with this issue and start explaining from beginning everytime,but it seems no body is following it up thereafter. Evenafter 10 days of regstering the complaint,no action was done towards fixing the issue.I am really frustrated with the service th Philips can provide in case of fixing a defective product. It would be great if you could do something about it and help me in getting my TV fixed. My complaint is registered with the contact number as [protected]. Was this information helpful? | |||

Philips — defective television supplied
Dear sirs,/19/11We had purchased television from E Zone - Siliguri- Cosmos Mall on Dated: 19/11/2011 cash memo No. t5/3824
in the name of Indo Bhutan Trading Co,The Philips make television was delivered to us at our residence in Jaigaon Dist. Jalpaiguri. The television on installation was defective in the picture quality . The same was intimidated to Mr. Sharma at E-Zone , Siliguri. A person from Coochbehar came to our residence and inspected the television and on inspection actually found the television defective. He thus on speaking to his seniors informed us that the television would be replaced from their Coochbehar counter in a weeks time. On waiting for ten days and no action we again informed E-Zone Siliguri .Then Mr. Sharma spoke to some Philips person in Kolkata who informed that they would replace this television with another one in another one weeks time. Days have passed weeks have passed and months have gone by....and PHILIPS ,so RENOWNED a company is not taking any action and just giving us false assurances after taking the cash in advance... who is going to bear for the interest of our money as well as the loss of time and harrasment.
THIS COMPLAIN SHOULD REACH TO EVERY OFFICIALS OF EZONE ....
