[Resolved]  Pidilite Industries Pvt Ltd — dishonour of warranty

my complaint lodged on the above matter against m/s pidilite industries pvt ltd has not been attended so far. kindly give us latest position of the complaint and oblige.
I therfor furnish herwith my complaint in detail for your perusal:

Sub: Dishonour of warranty.



Dear Sir,



The building under reference(CH-18, Jmashedpur) was surveyed by Mr. Amative Banerjee representative of m/s pidilit. He suggested 3” screed / reinforcement with 3” concrete of the roof top surface and treating the surface with Pidicrete MPB & Pidicrete LW, finally application of Dr. Fixit NEWCOAT on the affected surface.

As suggested by them we purchased all of the above Dr. Fixit brand construction chemicals from M/s Ashoka Enterprises, the authorized Dealer of m/s pidilite at Jamshedpur and got the work executed By Mr. Arijit Dutt of National Construction co. India , the authorized applicator of M/s Pidilite Industries. The work was duly completed in November 2007.

the said work was was carried out under your supervision, with pidilite's product of construction chemicals and through their authorized applicator. Thus we technically followed all prescribed specification for the execution of the said work. On completion of the work we were given a written Warrantee Certificate by teh company dated 06.11.2007 for 7 (Seven) years for the performance of the above job.

Unfortunately in June 2008, within about six months of completion of the work, the subject building developed a number of defects like wrinkles, defected surface, blisters, cracks etc.

According to their above warrantee pidilite is liable to restore all defects to our satisfaction. their Representative had investigated the matter in July 2008.
and undertook some patch work to remoive the defects.
Again in 2009 June/july the same defects were observed.The mattaer was brought to the notice of the representatives of m/s pidilite.They have been giving false assurances but not taking any conspicous corrective action to remove the defects.
Despite repeated requests,they have not taken any action to rectify the defects.

Mr. Surjit Kumar Kar, Area Manager (Technical Services) M/s Pedilite Industries Ltd has investigated the matter and gave his report on 11.04.2010, wherein he accepted that there are defects on the surface of the building as detailed above.

In line with said Warrantee, my complaints should be entertained and the defects to be removed . I have requested to take immediate corrective measures to remove the subject defects on top priority basis, or else wouldl be constrained to resort to all other course of action available with me.

Sub: Regarding our complaint dated 19/03/10 for roof leakages.



Dear Sir,



Please refer to our above complaint.

In line with said Warrantee, You are requested to take immediate corrective measures to remove the subject defects on top priority basis or else we shall be constrained to resort to all other course of action available with me.

Please treat this as most urgent.
