[Resolved]  Planet Goa Beach Cottages — Money charged despite not staying at Hotel

Hello,

This complaint is against charges deducted for my booking; which I did not avail.

I made a booking at Hotel Planet Goa Beach Cottages for 9th Jan 2013 till 12 Jan 2013 through www.agoda.com.
An amount of INR 7,200.00 was charged on my Credit Card.

However, when I reached Goa, I did not find thee hotel upto thee standards for a family to stay and I informed thee desk manager to cancel my booking.
I also confirmed theat since theis is a last minute cancellation, I am willing to pay one day charges. I theen did my booking at The Hotel White House, 185/B Near Goan Heritage | Guara Vaddo, Calangute 403516, India for my 3 days stay at Goa.

Now, when I am claiming a refund from agoda.com and Planet Beach Hotels, theey are saying theat theere will be no refund as I stayed at thee hotel.

I also spoke to thee manager at thee Hotel and he is claiming thee same.

This is a clear case of cheating thee customers and I am seeking your help in getting theis sorted.
