Sir,

With due honour I wish to state that I am an employee of M/s Numaligarh Refinery Ltd., Golaghat, Assam and I have booked a new car Tata Indigo cs elx on dated 10th February 2011 at Pragati Motors(Dealer of Tatamotors) Golaghat branch. I regret to say that due to the following anomalies observed from Sales Executive at Golaghat branch, I finally came to Jorhat branch for delivery of the car.

1. Mr. Bhaskar Dutta, sales executive have charged me Rs.23700 for Car Registration instead of Rs.21600

2. Insurance amount of Rs.17850 instead of Rs.13835 which was later revealed after I enquired at Jorhat branch. Also he wanted this amount Rs.41550 for car insurance and registration in cash so that he can fetch extra Rs. 5000 from my pocket.

3.On the day of delivery,i.e. on 18/03/11 the sales manager has told me that everything has been checked and found ok and accordingly handed over intentionally the defected car to me as I have revealed the extra Rs.5000 which they wanted to take from my pocket. As it was heavily raining on that date, without checking much I took the car.

4. As I took the car to Jorhat city for refilling of oil which is just 5 Kms from the dealer I immediately noticed that car AC is not working and produces abnormal sound while changing gears. Also abnormal sound was noticed from driver side wheel bearing as if it was found broken.

5. Immediately I took the car to the dealer but found none in the dealer. I called Mr.Partha Pratim Bezborah, Sales Manager to send someone so that the problem can be attended but unfortunately after waiting for 2 hours at the dealer no one came.

6. At last one helper who was working at the workshop came to attend. That person opened the fuse box and somehow box up the fuse box.

7. As I was left with no option I drove the car towards NRL township which is 65Kms from the Dealer and in doing so I was terribly faced with some more problems.

8. The car radiator temperature shot up more than 50% mark after driving for mere 10 minutes and started vibrating abnormally. Immediately I called the PDI I/c and on his advice I stop the car engine for 15 minutes. Finally I reached NRL Township and it took me around 3 Hours.

9. The sales manager sent one person to check the car to my residence and found serious problems in the car. On account of which I called the sales manager, Mr. Partha Pratim Bezborah to replace the car with a new one.

10. Inspite of requesting him to change the car, he is not at all ready to replace the car but told me that he can only repair the car.
