PRofESSIONAL — Gold cabs - Mumbai

I had paid an advance of Rs 5000 to Gold Cabs Mumbai on 14 May 2009 for which I
have an receipt from Gold Cabs dated 14 May 2009. The receipt clearly says
that this money is for cab service as and when required and does not talk
of any validity period. Till date, I have utilised service for Rs 1400 and
my balance advance as of today is Rs 3600.

However, later on when I called to book a cab, I was told that my booking period is expired and accordingly my balance advance amount was forfieted.

Inspite of calling them regularly and writing emails to them, I did not receive any response and accordingly would like to lodge a complaint against them in this respect.
