[Resolved]  Professional Couriers — Stolen my parcel

This is to inform you all that, I have booked Mobile from Professional Courier in Hyderabad on 28th april, 2010.
The delivery address is Rajkot (Gujarat)

Before booking the parcel I clearly mentioned what is in the parcel and informed the valuable of the parcel and I have to proof ready to show.

But, when I checked online on Professional Courier website to track the consignment it shows as VILE PARLE. So, I got doubt and asked the Professional Courier agent and he said it will go through Mumbai, vile parle and then to Rajkot.

And after that it showed to delivery to Rajkot office, but, when customer called the PROFESSIONAL COURIER in Rajkot they said, it is still under transit. So, when next day when contacted they said the parcel is misplaced. When we raise a voice, what do you mean by misplaced and where is the parcel, they said it is missing and forged somewhere from the delivery boy. And he offered Rs.200 for Rs.3650 value of parcel.

Customer refused and we lodge a complaint with head office both in Mumbai and Hyderabad. But, instead of solving the issue these dishonest fellows just repeatedly saying to contact booking office as the booking agent should not book valuable items.

I contacted booking agent and he said "what can I do, you can see the proof that courier has been reached Vile Parle in Mumbai and showing that on site".

So, I inform this to Head office both in Hyderabad and Mumbai and also inform to most of the professional courier branches. But, this DISHONEST and CHEATERS never returned my parcel nor refunded the money. They are offering some silly amounts like Rs.300. How can I take Rs.300 for Rs.3650 valuable parcel and also I paid Rs. 150 as parcel charges.

I repeatedly complained this with PROFESSIONAL COURIER staff and head office but, after weeks and months realized that PROFESSIONAL COURIER is one of the open cheaters company in INDIA.

I come to know about many cases from colleagues and friends and also people online and many are crying that either their part of parcel has been stolen or full parcel is missing. I am surprised to hear how this kind of ILLEGAL companies are doing business openly in INDIA.

People are saying you need to take lot of time to file a case and get it resolved. Who have the time.

But, it should not be the case. We should not let cheaters steal our goods and still do the business in INDIA. This will promote illegalities and give opportunity to many other companies to cheat innocent people and still continue with their illegal activities.

We should raise a voice against these kind of crimes.

Remember Gandhi said "Uproot the evils, then only you will see virtues"

To make a good society, a good country we should our hand against crimes and cheating.

Even if the booking agent book valuable items they should return the parcel to the booking place without delivery, that may be wise thing. However, STEALING the goods and then saying missing or whatever reason CLEARLY shows that how dishonest company is PROFESSIONAL COURIERS.

When you search online you find that people with anger saying to rename their organization as UNPROFESSIONAL COURIERS.

I really could not believe how these people continue to do the business in India.

If professional couriers do not return my money I will file a case against the company, even if that cost time and money.
