[Resolved]  PSEB — Complaint offices very poor service

While the power situation in Punjab might not be in control of the staff managing the Electricity Complaint office, THE LEAST they can do is not put thier phone off hook and take calls.

No matter how patient you are in trying their number, you will not get through. So then HOW DOES A PERSON LODGE A COMPLAINT?

We sit for hours and hours without electricity, but the staff - who gets paid out of taxpayers money - does not think it necessary to at least be available to tell us for how long, or even that they do not know.

The electricity board and the complaint office are like one big black hole. No response, so visibility, no clue what their jobs are, no inclination to do their jobs...and no accountability for all of it.

There is construction of bridge near railway phatak sirhind. The contractor cut the electricity supply of the nearby area brahman majra from transformer and using electricity for construction work. Instead o[censored]sing generator he is using govt. elecricity direct from transformer. People of area are suffering from power cut. But te area J.E is saying we have not disconnected the elecricity. The contractor is using electricity illegly.PlzTake action
Hereby I am bringing a few facts in connection with shifting of electricity meters from residential quarter to street poles.

On 17th feb 2010, two meters bearing a/c no.s Z37UK211235L and Z37UK211241Y were removed from my residence and installed at nearby street pole without prior intimation.

The insulation of wiring after removal of the meters was not done properly which appears to be hazardous as short circuiting may occur.

Another cable has been laid from the meter(Z37UK211235L) installed at the pole which was not secured adequately and is hanging loosely.

Please do the needful to rectify the defect at an early date.

I have already send one complaint regarding my meter reading is wrong i.e new reading is 5843 and old reading is 5949. The replay has not been received so far.

My account No is G65NF240833M Mr Manohar Lal. I have received bill for the month of Aug 10 on 30 Aug 10. My observation is the amount mentioned in your bill is Rs (-)829/- and I have not undersood your remarks, but total consumption o[censored]nits is only 51 from 5843 to 5894 and your send bill for payment ie Rs (-) 829/-. You are requested to callrefy at the earliest please.
