[Resolved]  Pushpanjali Crosslay Hospital — Incorrect and inappropriate treatment on hospitalisation

Address:Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh

I am lodging this complaint to address few concerns that I have faced during the hospitalisation of my Mother In Law Mrs Ranu Dubey Regn No. 36372.

She was taken to Pushpanjali Crosslay Hospital Emergency on 28th Jan 2011 at around 6.30 PM with complaints of giddiness and vomitting since morning. She was attended by the Docter at emergency and was diagonosed to have aproblem of Positional Vertigo which was confirmed by ENT Doctor Vijay Rangachari. Dr. Vijay made her do some exercises and decided to keep her under observation fora day. And she was admitted to the Ward. This problem of hers got better my morning and Dr Vijay told thatsheis fineto go home.

But from her immediate past history, she had few more complaints. Like breathlessness on exertion due to some suspected problems in lungs due to lymph nodes and was underthe observation of Dr. K K pandey of Metro Hospital. And was advised a supraclavicular node FNAC/Biospy to be done by Dr A K Mittal at Puspanjali.

We informed all these things to Dr. Prakash Gera under whom we were admitted. Now I would quickly like to address my issues which I faced during the entire stay at puspanjali.

1. From Saturday 29th morning till Monday31st afternoon the FNAC/BIOPSY was not done. Entire Sunday, nothingproductive was done. Total waste of one day.
2. Lot of Drs visits were wasteful and were not required. We didnt even hada clue that why these visits were being conducted. We came to know about them only when the final Bill came to us and we saw the consultancy charges charged on our account. The consultants from Gynae, General Surgery, Neurology, Neurosurgery and9 visit from General Medicine was done. But no visit was scheduled from a Lung s[pecialist inpite of the fact that her problemwas actually associated with lungs.
3. Lot of diagonosis conductedseems to be not required like the MRI's, pap smear test and the CT Scan. And nobody was evenbothered to share or discuss the report findings with us. They just kept on doing the investigations with no inference out of it.
4. Lot of mis-coordination was seen between the nursing staff and the Drs orders. For every small thing, the attendant had to run through forgetting the things rightfullydone.
5. The day FNAC was conducted the CT scan was not required. They could have easliy done the CT guided FNAC only. Also the major problem that I am facing currently is that they have not applied the sufficient investagative tests required to diagonose a TB which was major requirement of ours and they knew about it. Dr. Shrikant Tiwari from Internal Medicine told us that there is no test which can confirm a TB and henceforth started a double treatment for our Patientfor Sarcoid (which involves Harmonal treatment) as well as for TB. But when we visited our consultant from Metro, he informed us that there is a Test available called TB Culture which should have been applied before starting the treatment as the treatment has lot of side effects. Her condition also deterioted with the effect of consuming the medicines. Now when we want that test to be conducted, we are now being informed by your Histology Lab HOD Dr Alpana that it cant be done now as the samplewas not stored in Saline and hence is not fit for a culture test. And contary to this we again have to undergo a Biospy for the culture test.

I would like to inform you that out of our total stay at Pushpanjali, the only beneficial part was the ENT one. Rest everything turned out to a wasteful expenditure out of Rs.60000 Bill. We are at the same stage of diagonosis which we are atbefore coming to Puspanjali. Butwith saying this, our patient had undergone lot of pain and suffering during this process and we have lost a considerable amount of money. We have also lost our faith in Puspanjali Crosslay Hospital in which we had good faith.

I must say that their services are good but their medical facilities are awfully bad. This was my statement to my husband the day we were discharged from the hospital that " Pushpanjali Crosslay should have been a Hotel not a hospital".

The common man has lot of faith in the Drs and at several times treat them next to God. I would sincerely request the hospitals to please consider the motive of their existence first and do not make it a sheer business. Because there might be few people in the society that actually could not afford these heavy hospital bills but are still bearing with it just for getting a better care for their loved ones..

I totally agree, Puspanjali is the worst hospital i have ever seen.
The staff support is bad, there is no concern for the patient, the junior staff are in play full mood and do not take the condition seriously even the security staff, floor man, the room service ask for some money at every instance.

The fees is too high and the care is too less...

I advice u all just avoid Puspanjali Hospital.
Sir,

These are a few known cases of greediness of the pushpanjali crosslay hospital which are reported. I think there may be thousands of such cases that were not reported.

PCH, Vaishali's only mission is to extorting money by cheating the patients. Doctors are unskilled labourers. As a result one can easily predict the fate of the patients.

Avoid going to pushpanjali crosslay hospital otherwise one may lose patient as well as hard earned money.
Errant doctors should be cur short from their legs.
Sir,

Dr.Kanika Kutia and her husband dr. neeraj jain of PCH should also be cut short from their legs.
pushpanjali crosslay hospital vaishali run by totally money-minded owners. there is a majority of cunning and money minded business community doctors. their main aim / vision is to make money by using all tactics like misdiagonis of the cases, misguide the patients and their attendents, etc. They care of money and not the patients. the hospital is playing with the lives of the patients.

this is a burst hospital in this area.
DR. KANIKA GUPTA HAS NO BUSINESS IN OTHER HOSPITALS HENCE SHE IS THREATENING PATIENTS FOR OPERATIONS SO THAT SOME MONEY COULD BE MADE BY USING ALL ILL TACTICS. SHE HAS BEEN KICKED OFF BY SO MANY OTHER HOSPITALS IN THE NCR.

BEWARE THIS CUNNING AND 420 BEBKOOF SO CALLED CANCER SPECIALIST. SHE HAS NO KNOWLEDGE OF HER PROFESSION. SHE ONLY WANT MONEY WITH HER GANG OF DOCTORS LIKE NEERAJ JAIN, DR. SHARMA AND DR. BENGALI OF GALAXI. THEY HAVE A NEXUS WITH THE HOSPITAL FOR COMMISSION PURPOSES.
THESE ARE THE BONDED DOCTORS OF PCH VAISHAL HAVING NO KNOWLEDGE OF MEDICAL HISTORY. THEY ALL ARE JHOLACHHAP DOCTORS. SOMEWHAT PASSING THEIR TIME BY PLAYING WITH THE LIVES OF PATIENTS.
doctors also think that patients are hospitalised for their practice/experiment purposes only. they are unnecessarily operating patients' body parts for which they have no knowledge. on enquiry if made by attendants, they simply and politely reply that they could not trace the ailing part. they do it whether partient recover or not they dont care.
I still remember my condition in which I was admitted to Pushpanjali Crosslay Hospital on 20th June 2011. And now I am feeling much better.
Thanks would be a small word for all the efforts made by the doctors, especially Dr. Gera, Dr. Goyal, Dr. Srikant and Dr. Rajat who timely got hold of the reason for fever and treated it accordingly.
Also, their constant motivation and trust that I would be fine was a great source of inspiration for me as a patient to get well. Would like to thank all the doctors and nursing team for the care and support extended to me.
I do remember how the nurses wiped my tears even in late nights when I cried out of pain. Their compassionate care is one of the reason for my quick recovery. They pampered me like a kid and gave so much love.
Also not to forget the F&B and dietician team who always gave me healthy and tasty food with instant service during my entire stay.
The courtesy of each and every member of the entire Pushpanjali team was par excellence. From the room cleaner to the food delivery person.
I am extremely satisfied with my recovery period at Pushpanjali Crosslay Hospital.
I wish Pushpanjali good luck in future endevours with the same service.
You are a lucky person who have recovered from ailment in a third class / worse hospital in the NCR namely pushpanjali crosslay hospital vaishali. there may be some proficient doctors who cared of you. If you have consulted to dr. neeraj jain (a very very cunning and greedy doctor) and socalled gastroentrologist then you must have changed your views.

Normally, almost all doctors of PCH Vaishali, who belong to a greedy nature of business community are prescribing unnecessary and unwanted tests and medicines for gaining some commission, although the tests reports given by this hospital are also not reliable. they gives wrong reports. these greedy doctors don't apply their head on the real problems / disease, they blindly prescribing wrong medicines on wrong medical reports. the result of wrong medicines given to patients will adversely react, as a result 10% chances to alive.

for example one is suffering from abdomin pain and weakness, these unprofessional doctors immediately prescribe 10 - 20 tests, which have no relevance with the ailment and start threatening patients of serious results that if this -- this is not done. dr. kanika gupta (a notorious greedy doctor in the NCR) may even do unwanted operation on the patient for want of money.

There is a long list of greediness of so many doctors in the PCH. Although the nursing staff is very good and caring.
Dear rk3007/nk3007/rkkumarbala (whichever your real identity is): I just have one question for you: Are you a doctor?
Dear Sir,

No, Sir. I am a victim of these two bebkood doctors of PCH Vaishali namely, Dr. Kanika Gupta and Dr. Neeraj Jain. There is a big story of grediness / cunningness of these doctors.
In PCH Vaishali, on admission of a patient, doctor start jumbling in making up / down potassium / sodium; sodium/potassium for 4-5 days. during this period the condition of patient worsoned. this 4-5 day's period proved to be golden time for pushpanjali crosslay hospital and onthe other side this provided to be very very crucial time for patients.

doctors claim commission for the say of patients from the hospital. as already discussed so many times, dr. kanika gupta and neeraj jain (both jhola chhap doctors) are very very of greedy and cunning nature. both are posing themselves as pecialists but in fact they are butchers.
MORE STAY OF PATIENTS IN PUSHPANJALI HOSPITAL MEANS MORE COMMISSION FOR THESE GREEDY / JHOLA CHHAP DOCTORS.
She has knowledge at par with a jhhola chaap doctor. she must be awarded.
she must be awarded with 1000 wet shoes.
doctors have a nexus with owners of this hospital. there is an organised gang of cheaters.
Subject: Arrogance and carelessness, misbehave and harassment in pediatric department of Phuspanjali Crosslay hospital

My daughter was born on 14th August 2012 [Reg No: 00096321] on the day of birth Dr.Praveen was on duty and he told us that they will keep newly born under observation for 6 hrs for monitoring sugar level and myconium of baby. Ideally 6 hrs completed on 6:00 AM of 15th August 2012 but I did not get any update on my child’s observation. Suddenly around 2:30 PM 15th August 2012 I got a call from NICU and DR. Dilip and Dr. Bijender told me that my child ahs 2 episode of vomiting and that’s why they need to extend under observation further in doubt of infection and they start calcium, antibiotics and glucose .After that they keep extending observation by saying this problem that problem. We were not convinced with doctor’s still we thought OK fine and we should continue treatment as per Dr’s suggestion.
One day Dr. tells one story other day they start saying another story, as we were already not very much convinced with Dr. therefore we thought discontinue the treatment and when we convey the same to Dr. Bijender he start shouting on my wife and misbehaved .and he start saying ok relieve baby in LAMA and he instructed to nurse not to give even basic vaccination to the newly born and made a heated argument with my wife.
Now my concerns are below
1. On the first place when Dr. Praveen told me that they will keep my baby only for 6 hrs then why they have not relieved my baby on 15th August 2012 6:00 AM and to whom they took permission to extend the stay of my baby beyond 6hrs.
2. If we were not convinced with treatment then why Dr. Bijender was forcing us and harassed my wife who was recovering from a C-section and deprived off my baby with basic essential vaccination while government is doing advocacy of vaccination /polio drop then Dr. Bijender intestinally not allowed with the intention of revenge. If I am not willing to continue the treatment then in that case should I expect any menace act from Doctor?
3. Dr. did not allow mother’s feed saying that it will cause infection. When every where everyone is advertising that mother’s feed is best feed then DR. of Phusphanjali Crosslay hospital is not good
4. One side DR. are saying calcium deficiency and on the other hand not allowing mother’s feed
We were mentally harassed and newly born was deprived off from basic vaccination and this is just to inform, I will be filling a consume court complaint against hospital and especially Dr.Bijender who intent ally harassed my wife and denying basic vaccination to my newly born child. In fact I doubt on hospitals integrity which employees such Doctors who behave like goon and do such menace act of reliving a newly born without any basic vaccination.

In fact I was not the only who became victim of Phuspanjali hospital during my stay I observed every day there was atleast one case who at will get discharged their baby from NICU.This is common practice they are making money because one day in NICU means you will get charged around 12000RS per day.For 2 days I was charged with a bill of 25000Rs.
I have been to Pushpanjali Crosslay 3-4 times to see Gynae and every time I arrived well in time and the Doctor(HOD) I paid to meet left me half way. She met me for 2-3 minutes and then asked me to get an ultrasound done and didn't even care to see the outcome. Every time I went again, same process was followed. I wonder if it was a regular trend for her to do so. She did the same thing when I visited her exclusive clinic.

Also, on one of the days when my ultrasound was being done, a group of doctors were sitting in same room and they were talking of referring a rich patients to each other so that she can make good money from her. When I heard all that, I decided that I will not go back to this hospital again and I consulted a good local doctor. That was the best decision and had put end to my problems. I wasted quite some time with PCH and I regret going there.
