I fully agree with the comment. I have also experience worst experience with Ramkay, Adyar. I bought a new TVS streek 3 months back. I gave this for the 2nd free service in sept 10 with a specific complaint that the self starter is not working. After the service, i find that there is some problem with the kick starter also and i have to spend minimum of 10 mts to start the vehicle and the running is also not smooth. I lodged a complaint with Ramkay service team and i was told that they will send a mechanic to attend this. After that i would have called half a dozen times and there is no response. When i called them today, the told that no such complaint has been registered and they have asked me to bring the vehicle. I can not understand why cant they send their mechanic as promised earlier and the problem has aggrevated after the service. When i wanted to talk to the service manger, the standard answer is " HE IS VERY BUSY".
I really appreciate Ramkays values for a customer.

Bike no:TN 06 A 8599, selfmotor is not woking
My bike no:TN 06 A 8599 purchased from ramkay -adyar branch. My bike's 4th free service made on 11.12.10 but i am not satisfied in your service, because my bike self moter is not working they replied me the spare is not available in our branch. Please update me when the spare is available.
Very worst service center in chennai is RAMKAY TVS.. Gave service many times but still the same problem existing. Because of their service i would have met with very big accident two times.Past three years same problem is their. Telling changed some parts but not doing so..
RAMKAY TVS ADAYAR ; First of all I want to know about the service procedure. the service is based on kilometers or from date of purchase?. Many times when I went to the service centre when the kilometer is low the month is high they are taking the month for service .when the month is low and the kilometer is high they are taking the kilometer for service.Last month i finished the paid service but i left so many services because of these problems .so please confirm.Then what they are doing in the service just water wash only for that we have to pay Rs 250.In the service taking counter only one women is taking service card for 100's of vehicles then when we go for the office so please rectify all these problems then service is also not good. I had taken TVS Sports Nice bike, But this Ramkay Service guys, i think they are experienced in Cycle service, last 4 months i am suffering, still my bike problem not solved, Every time i take to the normal workshop and get rectified the problem, again these guys taking for free service and spoiling the total bike, shouted at manager, all there, no sense for them.. very stupid guys and bad service peoples...

MY tvs star city 110 cc bike, it has starting problem, and mileage problem . this bike is only a total waste of money... my bike TVS STAR CITY have many problems 1. clutch problem 2. sound in en. 3. tight gear 4. poor avg. i tell all problem to service man but i have no good effort after service only doing the wash...

I had a very very bad experience over the Ramkay TVS Adyar. They always showing interest to bill more amount on service. They never repair your vehicle properly. I took my bike on more than 3 times after my service for same compliant but still it is not resolved. I don`t know who is giving the ISO certification and all...
I want to share my experience with Ramsay TVS Velachery
I had booked a Jupiter on the 24th of Feb by paying 5000 rs as advance and was promised the vehicle in 20 days
After daily follow up and 35 days, today on the 31st of March, we were informed our booking is cancelled on the supposed delivery date by the Sales Manger Mr Stalin.
No reasons were given and we have wasted 35 days and i have refused to accept his cancellation.They have threatened us to either take back my advance or lose it as well.
Hopeless attitude by the staff in Velachery branch.PLEASE do not book your vehicles here.

ALLMOST A GOOD SERVICE. PROBLEM WITH THE NEW EMPLOYEES MAKING FEW SMALL MISTAKES. LATER THEY TO BECOME GOOD SERVICE ADVISORS.
RAMKAY SERVICING 7000 VEHCILES PER MONTH. 99 % SATISFIED 1 % MAY DISSATISFIED. TRYING TO SATISFY THE 1 % ALSO

Well can someone tell me what is an Incidental Charge. I asked for quotation for buying a bike ... Reg fee .. Insurance fee .. were all listed along with Incidental fee ... so what is it.. Should I pay it compulsorily.
Incidental charges is the hidden expences between Factory, dealer and registration lIke vehicLe damage transportaTIon, insURance While trAnsportation., They will change full Parts for small thin scratch.
Ramkay TVS - Adyar - Service is pathetic. And the worst part they have hired marketing people who try to sell anything. If you don't buy, they steal petrol and they cause more damages..
They are cheats and cheap marketing guys who will wipe off your wallet.
