[Resolved]  Ravindra Bharathi Global School, Chennai — Worst school with high fees and low quality education

Dear Parents,

RBGS Kilkattalai is one of the worst schools I have ever seen. Most of the above complaints are true. My son studies here and I regret for that. Parents who are researching on potential school for your kids, please do good research on the overall aspects. Just by having a Brand name and numerous school chain in Andhra Pradesh doesn't make a school best in class.
Infrastructure - The current Infrastructure was not built for a school. It had become a makeshift school. Being a local resident for close to 30 years, I know what was running in this building before it became a so called school. School without a play ground is secondary. The most critical concern is the safety of the kids and parents who drop the kids at school. Since they do not have the infra for School, they are unable to request Chennai Corporation for even a school sign board on road for cautioning the traffic. Also, there are no speed breakers for the school zone which should be a mandate in such a high traffic road. There are numerous accidents happening every week which are concealed by the school management. It is a battle to take a U turn or cross the road with your precious kid every morning between 8.30 to 9 am. The vehicles come in full speed after being released from the 200 Ft road junction signal. They have already waited at least 5 min in the signal in the busy office schedule. So you know there is least botheration for the speeding vehicles to slow down here. To witness this truth, please visit this busy place during any week day between 8.30 am to 9 am.
You do not have a parking slot for your car or bike for this school. You become a nuisance for the public by parking your vehicle on this busy road. There is not even a shelter for the parents/grand parents to wait until the kids are sent out.

Hi All... this article is true and this school is Worst... Don't get carried away by few positive comments because most of them are from School's management teams.

This issue is proved in the court and they are ordered by the Fee committee to refund the excess fees collected for last 3 years. There are also other cases in process against this school.

If you think about putting your kinds in this school... I'll say think twice.

Recently visited the school.. It's not that bad at all.. Principal is very friendly and they have lot of activities and programmes for kids. And regarding fee structure, I say it's better compared to other schools like San academy in which the fees comes nearly 2lakhs and they didn't mention anything about extracurricular activities.

Then why the hell you guys are still sending your children to this school. Better take a TC and go to other schools. Please remember that its not in Schools/Teachers hands to make your children shine. Its only with parents. Be it any school, parents has to take initiative to bring their children. Please dont depend on any schools. Join your children in any school but you should teach your children

I am a parent of tenth grade student, really feel very sorry to inform negative aspects of this school even though i am happy with Principal and teaching staff, other things are not upto the mark. General complaints are high fees, no play ground, high build-up, etc.
Main reason for this mail is that they have given a new time schedule for tenth grade as follows:
1. School starts at 8am.
2. School closes at 5:30 pm.
3. The above schedule from Monday to Saturday.
4. Most horrible is they work even on Sundays from 9am to 12:30 pm.

In the above case, my son has to leave home by 7 am and will return at 6:30 pm. Atleast they should not work on Sundays. Academic alone is not important, there are more activities to do. If they work non stop like they will have STRESS quickly.

If they do not have the skill to teach/ coach within stipulated school timing then it means they do not have efficient teachers or school management do not believe their ability.

Finally, just to highlight their performance and open more new schools, our kids are made scapegoat for this. Absolutely there is no need for such horrifying time schedule.

I hope they get back to the normal school timing.

I have joined both of my kids in RBGS keelkattalai. Last year we paid full fees for both kids. But they received very less fees for the same year, same facilities for another kid who is residing near to my home. When i enquired the school authority about why such differences between two kids, they said that they paid only part of the payment. But they did not actually paid the entire amount for the last full one year. Pls parents think twice..

why such partiality between two kids for the same year with the same facilities? I wont give up.. I have the evidence of collecting high fees from us and low fees for other kids.. I have got the receipts for the payments we made. But i wont give up..

I am one another parent and victim of this Ravindra Bharathi Tharai Local(Not Global) school.

Those who comment like
1. Its common in CBSE
2. I inspected and found everything normal
3. Principal is informative.

I would ask them, keep your mouth shut and go away.

Never ever dream of sending your lovely kids to this school. They make your kid feel inferior.
