Regional Passport Office, Bangalore — Delay in Passport Processing for Kids

We have applied for passports for my wife via file no. BNGA[protected]Mrs. Asha Sameer Shinde) on March 02, 2010 and via BNGK[protected]Submitted on March 12, 2010) for my son (Rajdan Sameer Shinde). My wife has received her passport (Passport no. J0343733) on 17.04.2010.

While submitting application for my son, we have given reference of my passport no. (i.e. F3913590 DOI 25.06.2005) and wife’s file reference no. (i.e. BNGA[protected]. But for my son, Rajdan, status is still shown as RED.

We have communicated this to RPO Bangalore thru emails on 02.04.2010, 05.04.2010 and 17.04.2010.

But till date, we have not received any email or confirmation from RPO.

As per update on website (http://rpobangalore.gov.in/npassport.asp), the possible date of despatch of passport is 15 working days(approximately) from the date of submission of the application.

But even after one month+, we are not sure about the status of our application.
