Sir, I am A. Gajen. I had applied for my passport three months ago . When i check my status now it shows that your application is transferred to policy section, see the PRO. Please guide me what to do

I am working in chennai.But my native is madurai surrounded village.I am going to apply pass port at on line.Can i prefer the appointment date as per my convenience.If not possible to prefer date, kindly mail me on which basis the system will give appointment date(for example;appointment date wll be given after 20 days from online registration date ).

I have applied my passport 2 months back on[protected] in pathanamthitta, kerala.My file number is B024881.Police verification here in Pathanamthitta is over.Then it had gone for regional verification in bangalore and the verification has been completed there too it seems as shown in the enquiry.Now it has been showing file movement since 1 month when checked in passport enquiry.But its geting delayed to be delivered and i am in great need of it.
