Reliance / NetConnect — Reliance Netconnect

I got my Reliance Broadband Netconnect through an agent on 12th Jan, 2010 for Rs. 3500. It got activated on 13th Jan,2010. But on 17th it got de-activated.

When I called the agent he told me that the connection will get activated again but for that I'll have to go for an auto-pay system. He told me that he will come the next day that is on 14th and collect the documents and the net will get activated again on the same day. But till date he has not find time to do so.

I called Customer Care to find out the reason of disconnection but they could not help.

l also went to Reliance World in ITPL, Bangalore to find out the reason of disconnection. He told me that since I am a bachelor I am supposed to deposit Rs. 1500 more as security towards Reliance. This was a policy I was not aware of at the time of getting the device.

When I contacted the agent, he confirmed me on the same.

I feel like I have been cheated. I should have been made aware of this policy at the time of purchase itself so that I could have gone for some other connection.

It is 29th Jan,2010 and I am still waiting for my broadband connection to get activated. Now the agent doesnt even picks up the call.
