[Resolved] Reliance Passport — Non Payment of money due | |
I Had taken a Reliance Passport which is supposed to be an international mobile phone and paid a deposit of Rs.10500/- on my visit to the USA from 8th May to 18th May. On my return I was assured my balance payment of about 6000/- for the amount unused on my card, The sim card no is[protected]. To date, inspite of repeated reminders, the balance amount has not been returned to me. I would be grateful if something could be done in the matter. The person concerned is a Mr Yadav and a Mr Pritam(Mobile no [protected]) Was this information helpful? | |

I had taken Reliance passport connection during March 08 for my travel to US and during April 08 during my travel to Europe. Both the visit durations were 2 weeks. However only after repeated reminders did Reliance billing detpartment send the bills in October... which was higly inflated. I had to dispute this for 4 weeks ... close followup via emails and telephone ... to get it ratified. Their passport website www.reliancepassport.com also does not work
Ebill Payment
I Used reliance passport during Aug - Sep 08 from US. I got my Bills in December 08 after many follow ups via phone and emails. The bill was full of extra charges for local calls; I never used this service for local calls. I had my official phone for local calls. For this also I have been called and sent mails many times but did not get any response yet. This is the worst service I ever used.
1. Their website is old and not updated. There is no mention of an economical plan which does not need deposit. Pay Rs.500 + outgoing calls only.
2. Their billing dept. is slow and the amount due printed on my bill did not match the call details - the amount was grossly inflated. It took them a week to correct the mistake.
3. They sent my bill after the bill due date.
CONCLUSION:- Their phone service and voice quality is good. Their phone service works 90% of the time. I recommend their service - JUST KEEP TRACK OF YOUR OUTGOING PHONE CALLS AND STUDY THE BILL VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE PAYING THE AMOUNT DUE.
