Till date I have not received the refund nor the shares.I had contacted Mr Jayakumar of Karvy Computershare pvt.Ltd by email dated 17th February and received a reply from them saying that the cheque has not been encashed .I than contacted my bank and got a certificate from them informing that the cheque was encashed on 22/01/08 and sent the same to Karvy but till date I have not received any reply from them.Have tried to contact Karvy in Hyderabad from Delhi by phone but cannot get the connection as no one picks up the phone. I am a 50 years old lady and do not have the energy of running after these crooks to get my money back.I am a House Wife and had deposited my life’s earnings keeping in mind the reputation of Mr Anil Ambani but now my confidence is totally shattered and have taken a vow not to ever invest in a IPO of Mr Ambani and any IPO handled by Karvy.

Reliance Power IPO — Regarding refund amount

Hi,

This is to inform you that yet I didn't get my refund amount which I'd invested in Reliance IPO. Refund amount is 18995/-(Ref. to your letter no. KCSPL/ADAG/RPOWER/REF/4968080)
I got a letter from KARVY 4-5days back in which it is mentioned that refund warrant has been already forwarded but not been encashed till date & validity of the refund order is 30th April'08.
I just want to convey you that still I'v not received any cheque.
So, please issue a stop payment request to your bankers and issue a duplicate refund order in my favour asap.

Reliance Power Ltd. — refund order stopped by the drawer

I have received one refund order instrument no.403907 dated 01/02/08 value of Rs.18995/- drawn on HDFC Bank. Presented the cheque on 7th April'08 on HDFC Bank, Siliguri Branch cheque has been returned with a reason " PAYMENTS STOPED BY THE DRAWER". Why cheque has been stoped by the drawer and put me under financial trouble. If I am not going to get my refund money immediately I am going to complain the to SEBI and as well as with other Authorities. I hope proper authority will take up the matter and solve the problem.
