Reliance (Smart) GSM Service — Cheating in Tariff

I have a Mobile No. [protected], of Reliance (Smart) GSM Service, from Last 1 ½ Years Approx, and I want to submit a complaint regarding cheating by my service provider,
this is not a case of individual person,
also in the case of all customers of "SMART GSM Services"
but the cheating have been made with numbers of Customers in Small Groups, the details of cheating are as under.

1. I was opted for ”So Called Life Time Scheme” from our service provider with a fee of Rs. 750/- (talk time 75/-), and got the following facility.
a) My Validity period will be extended for 6 Month after use of any recharge voucher, or TOP-UP
b) The call rate Tariff will be applicable as per the Recent Recharge Voucher Used

2. I have next used a RCV of 880/- and got the Call Rate Tariff as, Within Circle, Reliance (Smart) to Reliance (Smart) – 19 Paisa/Minut, To Other Mobile – 59 Paisa/Minut, STD or Land Line – 99 Paisa/ Minut, SMS – 25 Paisa/ Minut

3. After Recharging with the Para 1st above, and 2nd Above I have used only TOP-UP Vouchers, which give me only Increment in talk time Balance amount, but with the Same Call Rate Tariff, as per Para 1(b), However after Use of Any Recharge vouchers, (Except TOP-UP) the Rate will be change, and will be applicable as per the last RCV Recharged with.

4. From 14-Nov-2007 the company started charging a different Call Rate, as, Local – Rs. 1.99/Minut, and STD – 2.99/Minute immediately after reacharging with a "Rs.500/- Top up vochure" Even though my validity up to[protected].


5. After consulting with the Customer Care, they are not replying in any satisfactory manner, they only reply that the scheme is ended now and your call rate have been changed (in the meanwhile I have also not used any Recharge Voucher), However the fact is, that the dead line of scheme validity period was not fixed by the Service provider at the time of Starting of Scheme and in absence of this they assured this as ”LIFE TIME SCHEME”

6. Sir, the service provider previously in March-April (Approx) tried to close the above scheme for all customer, but due to protest of customer, they cancel the closing, and now they are closing the scheme with the randomly selected customer, in part by part to avoid the group protest.

So, herewith I am requesting you to kindly give you kind attention in this regard and take necessary law-full action against the company, I will be remain thankful for the same and oblige.

i am a reliance smart GSM service(prepaid) holder. i am suffering to reliance network problem since last 20-22 days. so i feel uncomfortable in your survice. customer care doesn't give any response. so you take attention for this problem immediately
VERY COSTLY SERVICE AND NO ACCURECY IN SERVICE.POOR CONACTIVITY WITH OTHER OPERATORS. WE HAVE TOSPAND AT LEAST 100 RUPEES FOR POWER TO MAKE LOCAL CALL CHEAPER.

Pls deactivate back ground music from my no. [protected], really i m demorlized with it, coz without services it will debited money from the a/c.

In Last few month i face lot of problem with Reliance GSM. At present my caller tune is deactived and when somebody call to me then they listen a music but my mobile is not ring. I call many time to customer care but there is no response i found. my mobile no. is [protected] and i belong to Hazaribagh(Jharkhand)
I am also having a SMART mobile No. Prepaid and Life time scheme.But I found that it is valid for 6 month only. If you use Topup within 6 month then Incoming free will be extended for further 6 month.Per Call Rate is very high about Rs.2/- and some times it seems they steal Rs.from my Balance.After some observations I stopped to charge by TOPUP and took another Co's No. for my Mobile.Now as I have given my reliance Smart No. to many I have to continue incoming, now I have to keep two mobile(now double Sims).Moreever Smart does not provide service in Orissa, Maharastra, Rajasthan etc.state.AND not reliable Company.Gradually I am giving my new No. to All so that all can contact me at new No.
I agree with these complaints. I took connection of reliance in te year 2004 and then disconnected it due to continued fraud by the company. I[censored] take a CDMA mobile u r bound to the operator and the handsets offered by reliance are not of good quality.
i am also a sufferer of this worst system...from last two moths they deduct Rs30 saying that my reliance music station is active while i kno very well that it is impossible as i dont activate...the customer care executives r also too bad they dont have any care about us...pls help me anymeans either by giving any ph no. of heigher authority or solving this problem.

Regarding the cheating in Call Rate High with out intimation Tariff of Life Time Scheme

I have a Mobile No. [protected], of Reliance (Smart) GSM Service in H.P. Cicrle. I want to submit a complaint regarding cheating the call retes high with out intimation by my service provider.
This is not a case of individual person, every customers complalin the "SMART GSM Services".
But the cheating have been made with numbers of Customers in Small Groups.

But after some time Smart services Call retes high with out information. However after Use of Any Recharge vouchers, (Except TOP-UP) the Rate will be change.

from 27-Nov-2007 the company started charging a different Call Rate, as, Local – Rs. 1.99/Minut, and STD – 2.99/Minute immediately after reacharging with a "Rs.100/- Power" Even and get call rates normal but power valid in 30days.

I completely agree. reliance is the worst service. they are completely fraud. most of the time i am not able to call from my network. when i approached their customer care services, they dont attend my call. Though i activate DND service from the begining (more than 3 years), they are distrubing through promo SMS and calls. Those services autometically activated every month & they deduct charges from my prepaid balance. I am completely fed up of the service.I am now thinking to change with other GSM service provider.

i have been using this reliance no [protected] since 6 years, and now on checking with my dealer i ofund that this no is registered in name of mr mohammed airf from bhopal, iwant to complaint that when my residence is Maharana pratap ward near new collectrate katni M P then how can this no be registered for bhopal . kindly suggest a feasible solution.
This all are bogus. Reliance is very strict in there announced scheme. I have never faced any problem like these also my friends and relatives are satisfied with Reliance GSM/CDMA service.

SMATS — Cheatings by Reliance mobile

I wish to bring to the attention of the consumer forum that Reliance Infocomm is stealing money from the accounts o[censored]nwary customers. They have started a number of dubious packs under which they deduct money for issuing of caller tunes and ringtones and other message services. These things are happening by stealth and many of the customers fail it notice it at first but when they check their account balance they suspect these malpractices. Reliance has activated these unsolicited services on my mobile four times in the last month and when I called customer care they say that it has been activated by the customer himself (which is not the case). They do not listen any further.

Though there are restrictions in the form of DND service by which the subscribers get some relief from these mischievous calls, the company does not relay this information to the subscribers. Reliance is thus stealing millions from the accounts of helpless customers.

i have been useing ur service 4 2years but there is no improvement in network problem is same as usally.plz do something ...soon.
