This is to inform you that the open drainage is continuously over flowing and dirty water with heavy stream is flowing in front of the houses situated in Dharmapuri colony (Street No.3), Uppal. The flow of water is so severe that entire area in front of the houses gets flooded with dirty drainage water. Although the problem is severe in rainy season but during the other days also the problem is persisting.
Every time we are calling on several numbers pertaining the official of Sewerage Department, Uppal. The complaint is simply passed on to another official saying that this does not pertain to them or else they give a number of a attender by name Mr.Ramulu and ask us to contact him and get the work completed.
With great difficulty we try to get connected to Mr.Ramulu, the attender and ask him to attend the job.
For a day or two the problem gets sorted temporarily and again same thing continues after that. Upon detailed discussions with the attender we understand that there is a heavy flow of drainage water from several places, continuous blockage due to narrow construction of the open drain, lot of drainage lines not connected to the closed drain in all the surrounding areas.
On behalf of the colony, we request your intervention into the matter and sort out the problem with a permanent solution. You may note that children and elderly people getting frequently sick and are getting prone to many deseases thereby endagering their lives.

House — drainage overflow
we are living in ward 57 in coimbatore, lalbhagadur nagar. peelamedu.the drainage is overflowing and no municipality people are coming and lceaning. lot of mosquitos and making people sick. please take an action.thank you
