We are residing in the address mentioned below for the last 15 years. 37-K.V.S AVENUE, OFF G.K.MOOPANAR ROAD, REDDY KUPPAM, KANATHUR, CHENNAI - 603112. We have time and again brought the following matter up with the assistant engineers at Kovalam. We have also given our personal contact numbers to all the staff of this Kovalam branch. The complaint is as follows. When the EB Board people come for reading, they do not even bother or even have the time toletusopen the gate and the meter box room to take the actual reading. The excuse stated by them is that there are no personelles at that time which is totally false. The very few times that they decide to let us open the meter room to them, they don't even bother to take the actual readings. They have always stood 15 feet apart from the actual spot and given the meter reading. And for an exorbidant amount. We are mentioning EXORBIDANT for the simple reason for the whole ofmid August, September, October the power used to go off 6 to 7 hours or even more within a span of 18 hours and we use the back up equipments as we have a visually handicapped doctor from the chennai corporation. We are now being slapped with an amount of Rs:22, 000:00 for their carelesness and their arrogant behaviour stating that we can see the meter reading from such a far distance. We tried to solve this issue at the branch level itself, but we have been left with no option to write our woes and mental trauma.
