[Resolved]  Retired (Kola Perumal Chetty Vaishnav Sr Sec School, Chennai) — pension cheques not received

Dear Sir/ Madam:

I'm Pallavi Raghupathy, D/o Smt. Pramila Apparao, writing to you from the US, regarding my mother’s pension case.
This is to bring to your kind notice that my mother, Mrs. Pramila Apparao (W/O Late. R. Apparao Chitty), born on 08/08/1947 was a teacher. She was working for Kola Perumal Chetty Vaishnav Sen Sec School, Arumbakkam, Chennai. She resigned from service on 31/3/2005, and was relieved on the same date, as she had to leave for the US, to come and stay with me.
She has a Superannuation pension. The date of commencement of FPF/EPS was 23/06/1995. The date of option for the commencement of pension was 01/04/2005. I would like to tell you that she is eligible to receive pension from 08/08/2005, but she has not received any money from your office since then. On her behalf, I humbly request you to please release the amount due to her as pension, and continue to send her the pension money that is due to her.
I have herewith given all the required details. I would also like to mention that there is a change of address, and I have also furnished that below.
My mother actually received a letter from your Delhi office (letter Dated 23/06/2005) requesting 3 passport sized photographs. She was in the US when the letter reached her in Chennai, but she sent the same to your office immediately after returning from the US in Oct 2005. There has been no response from your office ever since then.
