REVATHY INDANE GAS AGENCY — Cylinder not supplied

We have booked for a cylinder on 26/02/2010. We got a reply that cylinder will be supplied in 10 days. But it is not supplied yet. When we called them several times for the past 10 days, we got the same reply as " cylinder will come today". But we didn't get it yet now.
Please take necessary steps.

Yes the complaints by the consumers on "Revathi Gas Agency"are 100% true and I understood this When ispoke to one of the representative staff of that agency. I said that i'm new to this location and would require a gas connection desperately. The response was surprising. They are asking to call them after 15 days to say if they would be able to supply or not and disconnected the call without any notice.
Requirement of gas connection is very essential. Since I think that this is the only gas agency in this area, the atrocities are unbearable. Someone should take efforts immediately to deal with this people and save the consumers from further sufferings.

Also they are selling gas cylinders in black for more price.They are delivering the refills to consumers after 20 days only. They are delivering gas cylinders without slip.please take necessary actions as soon as possible.
I too agree with this Agency. i got a new connection and i said i don't want any Stove. and for that they asked me to pay RS. 250 and after that there is no response. they are telling wait for 30 more days. Some one please let us know what need to do for this?

I am booked for new gas connection in Revathy Gas Agency in the month of April 5, on that time they told that we will get back you for new connection with in the month. But till now no proper response from them, if I asking them about it means they telling we are not giving new connections in this time, and they asking me to wait again one more month also. But I am waiting more than 2 months. But I heard that they selling the gas in block...kindly inform me what I have to do further.Please take a necessary action against them. We are struggling for gas in last 3 months with our small kids.

who is running in 60's and totally sick he needs to come all the way from coimbatore to chennai since they are asking for a signature
i made him to come hear twice but they are asking us to come tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow
if you ask them twice a day they are disconnecting the line

Indane Gas -Sri Revathi Gas Agency, Medavakkam is the most WORST in terms of customer service. We have been using Indane for more than 25 years in various parts of Chennai like Adyar, Mylapore, Thiruvanmiyur etc. None of the Gas agency was like this Sri Revathi Gas Agency.
Leave alone new gas connection, once you get the connection also, even to get a refill they make you call 100 times and they dont send the gas cylinders promptly.
May times we have suffered with empty cylinders.
Each time you call them, their number is always busy. after 2 to 3 days of repeated trying I once got ring but they did not pick. I went to office and was shocked to see them putting all phone receivers down to avoid phone calls. We cannot go to their office everytime for cylinder refills right.
WORST service ever by Indane agency.

I just got a new Indane gas connection through Revathy Indane Gas Agency, Medavakkam. In the agency it is written that you dont have to take the gas stove along with the gas connection. I have a gas stove which meets the requirements set by Indian Oil Corporation (IOC). I told them that i have a gas stove and would not like to buy one more. They said that it is mandatory to buy the gas stove along with the new connection and asking me totally Rs 4500 for one cylinder connection. When i look in IOC website it says that it is not mandatory to by gas stove. There should be some action against them and Please let me know what to do? if i pay the amount only i will get connection seems...

Poor response when we call Only response is customer is busy call after some time throughout the day for 19/4 /2011 tilll now! Better to open another distributor for this region so that there is no monopoly in this business

how to book a refill from revathy which gives a subscriber busy recorded voice the whole day!
solution is to book refills through indane no [protected] and not the above revathy gas nos. the recorded message is wrong it shoud have been changed to give this no to the customers instead of saying subscriber is busy try after some time throughout the day this is a wrong message and deficiency of service

Sri Revathi Gas Agency supplies Gas cylinder to me for the past few years. I booked the cylinder in the last week of May and I have also received a sms from Indane on 26.05.11 stating that my cylinder would be delivered shortly. They have also mentioned the cash memo number in their sms. But till today (12.06.11), I have not received my cylinder. I approached them directly on 2 occassions. On both the occassions they made a note of my customer number in their note book and confirmed that the cylinder would be delivered on the same day. But they have not supplied the cylinder to me. On most of the occassions when i try to call them up their number is engaged. Occassionally when they attend the phone they are making a casual reply that there is no current or it will be delivered.
Kindly take necessary action against Indane Gas -Sri Revathi Gas Agency, Medavakkam for the benefit of sufferers like me.

Jaya Gas Agency — About delivery boys
The delivery boys who delivers the gas cylinder commits 21 as their delivery charge. Is it true to pay Rs. 21 as the delivery charge. The price of the gas cylinder is Rs.393.50. They are asking Rs.415. Other wise they will get back the cylinder. Customer No. 42682

Yes, whatever complaints made here is true. Delivery of cylinder is delayed abnormally to an extent of 35 to 40 days whereas other areas in chennai get cylinders delivered within 15 to 20 days. This is not at 1 instance. Every time we book, it gets delayed. I dont know why there can be a delay after we get a sms on cash memo generated. Which means something is going on in between the gap. Also as mentioned by other people, delivery boys take 40Rs more than actual cylinder rate. When we approach the agency people directly, they behave very harshly. Some action needs to be taken immediately.

sir im book my gas on 20th of november today is 5 december.alredy
it will take 16 days.
sir this are every month is the same issue there . in distributor office.
they people are not lifting the phone. when we go to book the gas,
response this very poor.
and there gas delivery man change per cuctomer to Rs.320/- every
home. we r alredy complaint to u r distribtor but there are no chenges.
now we are very very tried with u r distributor.
i my resquesting you to please do some thing .
