I was booking air tickets from Mumbai to Lucknow for my family through Explocity. Explocity redirected me to the Riya travels website which repeatedly kept on crashing. I finally managed to book my tickets but because the website kept crashing so often, the date gets moved to some random computer generated one which is not the date I wanted to travel on. I called up the Riya guys immediately and even explained the situation but they would not budge. I asked them to levy a fine on me but not make me lose the entire amount....but they were as stubborn as ever. A supervisor came on the line and assured me that things would be sorted but then he got is junior to call me back and then said that we were going to stick to the company rules that said no refunds.
I called Explocity who patiently listened to me and told me that this could only be sorted out through Riya; said that she would speak to Riya and then put me on a con-call. All I can say was that I was lead back to the usual Riya queue and it really turned out to be a con call where I was conned out of my money. Was this information helpful? |
