[Resolved]  Rohan Motors — DELAY IN REFUND

I had booked Maruti Ritz with Rohan Motors vide booking no. 92504745 on Sep 03, 2009. Due to delay in delivery after initial promises for delivery with 15 days, the booking was cancelled and accordingly request was placed with M/s Rohan Motors.
The request for refund of cheque for Rs.5000/- was given to the Showroom on Nov.26, 2009, along with original receipt. The acknowledgement is available with me.
Even, after expiry of more than one month, the cheque is still not processed.
Every time you call them up, some excuse or other is being given
The papers for refund were submitted to Mr. Deepak Sharma.
Will anyone look into this matter.

Rohan Motors — Poor body shop service

Dear Sir,

I take reference to the services provided to me vide M/s Rohan motors on the acquiescence of my vehicle which had met a mishap on 22nd may 2010.
I got a first-rate treatment at the time of submission & paper work and was pretty predisposed that I might get my car on time i.e. within 8 to 10 days. My paper proceeding was done by Mr. Chaudhary & my contact person was Mr. Ramsagar.

To my revelation It took around 7-8 days (By 28.06.2010) for M/s Rohan motors to rope in the insurance surveyor (Mr. Lalit) & pull the vehicle inside the works. Additional, after another 10-12 days (by 07.06.2010) the personnel at Rohan motors informs me that the steering rod has been bent & cannot be mended; henceforth it is mandatory to replace it. Again it took 4 to 5 days for the body shop persons to arrange for the parts & indemnity survey (by 12.06.10).

Further after 8-10 days I was guaranteed that I shall be given my car utmost by 21.06.2010. I was called on 21st late afternoon at your works. On 21st evening I tried to contact people there but could not. On 22nd when I called Rohan motors then I was again promised that I would get the vehicle today & which was not completed, & moreover the case was lingered & lurked upon every day.

This strained me to lodge a grievance with Maruti customer care. To a bit respite, finally on Thursday Ms. Savita called me saying that you shall get your car positively by Thursday evening or on Friday evening. On Friday (25.06) I received a call from your works explaining me that the problem with the steering still persists & the Maruti is closed for 1 week. This bolt from the blue perhaps was the last straw to break the camels back.

Pl. take note that during this period the undersigned was in tremendous trauma & felt awfully harassed by the services provided by your association. The endurance level surpassed all confines. The huge amount of expenditure by booking taxi etc. (for a working engineer level like me) in lieu of travels added to the agony.

The level of negligence & laxity revealed by an esteemed organization like M/s Rohan motors which rules the Maruti sales in northern capitol Region & is known for its impeccable services is simply astounding and deplorable.

I have bled my hard earned money & been through aggravation which compels me to consult my lawyer. I believe this might be trivial & small issues for big player like yours & perhaps finally I may not get my dues, nevertheless I have faith in Rohan motors top Management & our constitutional rights.

P.S. I got no phone calls from your works during the above said period. It was the undersigned who always called to expedite.
