[Resolved]  Rohan Motors — Breakage of Windscreen during Servicing

i gave my car WAGON-R Primea model for servicing to Rohan Motors, Noida on 18th May. While preparaing the Job Card, the representative from Rohan Motors - Mr. Om Vir Singh asked me if i had any specific complaints or concern from the car. As i rarely use my car - i did not have much to add so asked him to do a general servicing of the car and change all the necessary oils as this was teh first paid service after purchase.
After collecting the car in the evening i drove for about 1 km and noticed that the front Windscreen glass was cracked from the left for about 5-6 inches. i immidiatly went back to Rohan Motors and met Mr. Singh. To my surprise Mr. Singh very comfortable told me that this crack was there when i gave the car in the morning for servicing. On this i asked him that as a part of their duty they should clearly inform or bring to the notice of the owner of the car such a major damage before taking the car for servicing. He then showed me the job card wherein according to him he had made a"DOT" on the windscreen. I told him that this is not at all convincing and that this damage to the windscreen has been caused during the servicing, which he completly denied. As on my part i am very convinced that the damage was caused during servicing however there is no point arguing with them. Not sure if Maruti really looks into the services that the dealers provides plus the customer feedback.

i left the premises of Rohan Motors with disappointment and swore to never go back to them again. i am not sure how they can take the consumer / customer so lightly.
