[Resolved]  RPO, Hyderabad — Delay in endorsement of spouse name

Sir,

I have applied for endorsement of spouse name in my existing and valid passport on 21-Aug-2009 bearing file # M[protected], with all supporting docs and prescribed fee. On submission, It was told at the counter that the passport would be dispatched by post in a week to 10 days time, as the address of residence in the holding passport is same as present one. From the date of submission, the status on the site for initially for some time as "Police Report Not Received" and after 2 weeks the status is continueing as blank.

When I enquired at the counter for status, there is no satisfactory response as they are not sure for the delay and they keep on saying it would be done in next few days. When I tried to reach their PRO/RPO for expressing the grevances in, as mentioned in their official site, "Adalat" it came to know that is no longer in active.
