[Resolved]  S B I — NON PAYMENT OF COMMUTATION OF PENSION EVEN AFTER FOUR MONTHS

NONRECEIPT OF COMMUTATION OF PENSION AMOUNT

Sir,
I am Lt Col (Retd A J Antony). I have a pension account no. [protected] with SBI Golibar Maidan Branch, Pune (bank code 7433).
My PPO No. is M/003762/2010.
I have received corrigendum PPO no. M/CORR/007519/2010 dt. 09 Sep 2010 from the office of the Chief CDA (Pensions), Allahabad, regarding my commutation of pension amounting to Rs. 1085730/-. Same is been received at my account branch & according to them my papers were dispatched to SBI Centralised Pension Processing Cell, ITC Belapur , Navi Mumbai on 29 Sep 2010 vide speed post No. EM.[protected] IN.
It is regretted to say that even after 4 months I haven't received the amount .
During this period I have made 'N' number of visits to my branch & the branch has sent reminders too, latest being on 4th Jan 2011. The branch is not able to give me a definite answer, their usual answer being "we do not know why so much of delay we are sending reminders".
I have also lodged an online complaint with SBI on 4 Dec 2010, Complaint ticket no. Cc[protected].
But I am yet to receive my commutation amount. I do not know where the problem lies.
It is requested to do the needful & the authorities should take proper action to pay my due amount with interest for the delay period.
